Over the past couple of years, AE & Aerie have given customers who are signed up for their rewards card, a 25% off coupon for their birthday reward. But this year, they’re only giving a $5 reward. Considering how pricey their products have gotten over the past couple of years, and how low the quality is… you’d think they would want to give back to their customers……

I had an incredible experience here today! I was on the hunt for the perfect jeans for my curvy body and it has been a nightmare to say the least, that was until I walked in and was helped by the lovely Olivia! She was so helpful and kind, provided me all the sizes I needed and was running around helping other people as well but still managed to give me an amazing experience! I told her how much i appreciate her help because I’ve been struggling with body image and finding jeans is usually a terrible experience for me but she made it so easy and I really appreciated her kind energy. I’m very new to Fredericton and it’s so nice to be welcomed by kind people! Thank you so much Olivia! 💕

My partner I and went in for some clothes. Rachael went above and beyond to help us from start to finish in the store. She had great customer service, and a good eye for detail when we asked for her opinion. She also went around and helped us find stuff. Overall we had an amazing experience because we had an amazing staff member to help us.

January 8, 2024 - approximately 1pm. Very kind, professional service by both ladies working. I had a pair of defective jeans that I needed to return and both employees were absolute stars. They made sure I found a great replacement, and gave no hassle whatsoever. It’s service like this that makes me proud to shop at AE. Keep up the phenomenal work!

Went to American eagle (sept 11th approx 4pm) to return 2 pairs of jeans I bought less than 24hrs before, because they didn’t go with an outfit I had in mind. First of all I stood behind the counter for an awkward period of time while 3 employees stood behind the counter talking together. Then I was questioned (by assuming it was a supervisor) if I had a return, which I did, and then he proceeded to tell the younger guy “ok you can deal with that”. The young guy who was instructed to process my return must be new as he was having trouble logging onto the tills and neither of the other two employees were assisting him, instead they were more interested in gossiping about the work place. Once the young employee finally switched tills and got logged on, after asking the other employees for help 2-4 times, he informed me that he needed my address (which I was very concerned about)… surely it does not take a first name, last name, phone number, email address, AND home address just to process the return of two pairs of jeans purchased IN STORE!!! And if it does, then this process needs updating to respect the private information of the customer who is sharing their address in front of the whole store. The young employee was apologetic however the two other employees were demanding that there was no other way to bypass this. In this situation I not only felt like my private information was compromised, but also felt disrespected by the two employees standing around and gossiping and felt very bad for the young guy who was running the show by himself. Senior employees should be setting an example for this guy, instead they showed him how they get away with treating customers very poorly.

Visited the Aerie location yesterday (March 11, 2023) and unfortunately experienced less than impressive customer service. There were three young ladies working and not once did anyone say hello or ask if we needed help.They continued to talk about their lives, gossiping and talking about boys.I’ve never worked in retail however, I know this is very unprofessional.Something needs to change!

I shopped at the Aerie to pick up my birthday reward and some other items, and Esther was especially helpful and all around lovely. I wanted to especially give a shoutout to them for using non gendered language when talking to my friend about me - as a nonbinary person it's those little things that just make a more comfortable and pleasant experience.

I wanted to give a huge shout out to the amazing store associate who went above and beyond at the American eagle store in the regent mall in Fredericton NB yesterday. she immediately knew my daughter was uncomfortable and hesitating to try on jeans and struggling to find jeans to fit her body type and she went to work finding as many pairs as she could even going out back and searching shelves and storage for whatever styles in her size she could. She made a teary eyed uncomfortable kid feel better and find something she was happy with. We ended up having to have a pair shipped to our home in order to get the right style and size but she was so so nice ! She made me and my daughter feel like we were the only ones in the store right then and she would do anything for us. I wish I knew her name to thank her on here but I can only hope she sees this and knows who she is ! Thank you so much for the outstanding service !
