“Our instore experience was wonderful. Our sales person gave us just the right amount of advice and space to explore, was super informative and helped to call the supplier when we were in a time crunch with our purchase. He helped us place an online order through the store because it was showing a faster delivery than what they could do with instore purchasing, and gave us all of the information we’d need to track our order. When we’re ready to replace, we will be back!”
“Nice store. Had a good look around. Had a nice conversation with the owner regarding politics. But, shopping was cut short by what I guess was the landlord announcing that the fire alarm had to be tested that moment, with me being the only one there. And if you only have one customer in the store....please just keep talking english. Or just wait until the one customer in the store is gone to have a conversation filled with laughter. It was uncomfortable.”
“Always kept neat, and staff is super friendly. Irma served us this evening, and we’ve had her before. She is always so nice! The store is a little small, and is somewhat cramped.”
“We had a great experience with Leon's delivery service. The haul away program takes care of the problem of finding a way to get rid of the old appliances! Thank you!”
“Excellent customer service. Older gentleman who helped me find pliers and gave me suggestions and answered my concerns about faucet being outdoors, he explained how it will not freeze outdoor thank you so much.”
“Our family bought a new sofa set here in July 2026. Brittany was absolutely fantastic. Professional, kind, and a good sense of humour. Made what can be a difficult process seamless! Would gladly recommend Hotchkiss to anyone looking for home furniture!”

“I recently moved to the area and needed to furnish my new place, and I had such a great experience at Surplus Furniture! I was able to get almost everything I wanted here. They had a great selection, and I really appreciated how affordable the prices were.
By far, the best part of my experience was working with Steven! He was fantastic from start to finish: incredibly helpful, friendly, and easy to work with. He made the whole process of furnishing a new place feel much easier and made sure I found pieces I was happy with.
I would definitely recommend Surplus Furniture, and if you go, ask for Steven! 😊”
