If i could give you lower I would. I absolutely do not expect to finally have calls returned after 5 months and then be talked down to like I am d**** Jamie had no interest in trying to help, just completely talked over me and tried to make me feel small.

I called to have a payment deferred for Feb 07, was given a reference number told everything was great, come Feb 07 they proceeded to take out the entire amount instead of just the interest, as promised and caused my account to go into the red $150. When I called to talk to them about why this happened they proceeded to tell me I should have called four business days in advance even though I was already told the payment would be deferred. So when I asked them what they would do they said they couldn't do anything. I have now been dealing with them non-stop for two entire days. Talked to several call center employees only to be told someone would listen to my Feb 03 call (to make sure Thomas told me my Feb 07 payment was deferred) and get back to me in 24hrs. Still no one is back to me. My money went NSF and I was charged a further $48.00. I called back today to speak to someone to figure out what they are going to do and when I was put through to an employee after an hour on hold after telling them my name and birthday I was hung up on causing me to call back and being put on hold for a further hour. I have spent 8+ hours on the phone in the past two days and am out $48.00 still since this entire process started with still no answers or replies from the bank.They messed up, took my money after entering a verbal contract to only take the interest and have since then avoided any kind of reconciliation.I will never bank with National Bank again and would recommend you do the same.

I have been dealing with the Fredericton branch for over 20 years and received excellent service. The staff always remember me by name and greet me like I am an important customer.
