ATM malfunctioned while depositing 2 cheques (tot. $568) on Feb. 1/25. Didn't process and didn't return my cheques. Called toll free # on receipt (frustrating in itself getting past AI bot).
Physically went to branch on 3rd and they started investigation. Back again on 7th (told investigation still being processed 🤦🤬). Today is the 10th and $ still not processed/deposited!!! Beyond pissed off and frustrated.
Agree with all the 1* reviews. Long lineups, 2 tellers who move like snails.

I have never waited less than 20 minutes here. They have miscounted my cash deposits twice.

Serive is too slow i waited 50 mins in line i was on 5th place and employees were just kepping taking to each other and instead of helping out the people
The line was to the door but they dont care because they just wanna get paid for doing nothing

Don't go here if you want to cash a cheque!!!!!! They will give you a hard time and treat you like a thief. Won't even consider your cheque cashed for days. Will say there might be issue with your account and then when you ask them what issues they won't even tell you. Went to brookside and was in an out in under 5 min no hold and no problems at all!

Well, I mean it's a bank. They're all the same. Literally. Anyway, that's a different story...they're not there to serve the general public, that's more of a side show. Complaining about customer service at a bank is like saying that you don't like the magazines in the dentist's waiting room. The magazines are an afterthought, it's not the dentist's main gig, so why would they care about or focus on the magazines? Blue is a nice color, so Royal Bank it was for me. If I enjoyed Magenta for example, I would have picked CIBC. No diff...some logos are just prettier than others...

Horrible service. Line up of 8 people. 25 minutes in line still waiting. No respect for the customer. Leaving this bank for good as soon as I get service

Brutally long lines and terribly slow. Kiosks almost empty despite being lined up out the door. They really need to figure themselves out.

The person named Shevaughn Patterson resolved out issues regarding our banking app . He listened us very politely and resolved our issue that we already tried to explain to there previous employee couple of months ago. And he just fixed everything for us . Thank you sir for you help.

I normally try to make positive posts. I don't do this in order to fool my friends into thinking that my life is perfect. It is pretty fantastic, but just like everyone else, I have good days and bad. Also, I try to call out good or great customer service while trying to deal directly with companies that underperform in order to let them know I am dissatisfied.Over the last 25 days, I have wasted many hours on the phone being treated poorly, frustrated and being lied to by RBC / Royal Bank. Being out of country and having your banking screwed up is more than a little bit stressful. I have tried their complaint process with no satisfaction and I tried asking to speak to a supervisor only to be told "they don't talk to clients".After being their customer for several decades, I feel that I have to make a change. It will take me until May 2026 to switch all my accounts, products, and investments without penalties to another bank (I'm angry and disappointed, not stupid). I don't know if a better company is out there, but I will start looking. #RBC, #royalbank, #allyoureggsinonebasket

I needed a bank draft today & went in & waited in line for 1 hr & 15 min. Initially there was only 5-6 in line but it quickly grew to over 12. The “tellers” were nonchalant & taking their sweet time. There was a notice beside each teller that said “ Please RESPECT us”. I wanted to grab it & hold it myself as a client waiting in line.When I finally got to speak to the teller to get my draft, she spent 20 min, trying to sell me a credit card & a line of credit. I immediately said “NO”, and suggested that she just try to get to the people in the looooong line up. Some had kids, some on crutches, some with walkers. All of this seemed totally oblivious to ALL of the RBC staff. Worst service EVER, not to mention the filthy dirty, bank itself.
