I wouldn't recommend this bank they wouldn't let me cash a cheque but the month prior they did my brother was beside me cashing a cheque and they let him do it aswell I didn't feel like a person in that bank I switched banks soon after I personally wouldn't go to this bank again I was treated poorly the employee told me I couldn't cash a cheque this month but they would let me last month idk what's wrong with ur employees but I felt disrespected there but yet my brother cashed a cheque and he was allowed I felt like a number not a person there

Beware incompetent RBC agents, you'll phone one person, and they'll tell you the complete opposite of another. Admit fault, then screw you over for a pittance of an amount for a bank.Sent a money transfer that takes 5 days to arrive, notified the bank within a day that it needed to be canceled as the ligitment receiving company's banking information was hacked. RBC confirmed multiple times that the transfer was canceled. Phoned again before the 5 days was up to make sure, then told me it wasn't canceled and that we should wait until the money arrives to file a fraud claim. They finally filed the fraud claim, lost the money, and confirmed to me that it was the banks fault. Opened an appointment to get the complaint filed; the manager forgot about the appointment and left me waiting. The complaint was filed and took twice as long to process, then I get rejected despite them admitting fault. Now I need to file an appeal, then another appeal. In total, I must have phoned 10 representatives so far, they have admitted fault at the branch and from the fraud department, but still don't care, all a PR smoke screen for the banking lawyers who will happily shaft you. Goodbye $2500.

I opened an account in 2020. I have multiple USD cheques to cash throughout the year and twice I had issues with the cheques at this branch. They would go into the account and then months later be taken back, and it took them more than a month to find out why.Everyone is always friendly, which is a great positive.Another reason for only 2/5 stars is that they don’t open until 9:30, which leaves no time for the majority of the working public to do any kind of banking before work. Other banks have better and more flexible hours, and because of this and what is mentioned at the top of the review I have decided to close my account today.

Best customer service ever. My agent that set up my account made it easy to understand the plan that best suites me. The Manager at the entrance took great care of my banking needs. They have awsome banking plans and they help you build your money.

IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET A HOLD OF ANYONE -- WE CALLED THE FREAKING CALL CENTRE FOR 2 DAYS -- GOT ONE PERSON WHO SENT US THE WRONG HOUSE INSURANCE DOCUMENTS -- WE CALLED BACK AND WERE ON HOLD FOR 4 HOURS AS THERE WAS NO OPTION TO HAVE A CALL BACK. MY PARTNER WENT OVER TO THE OFFICE TO SEE IF ANYONE WAS THERE -- OF COURSE NOT -- A SIGN SAID TO CALL LEAVE A MESSAGE AND THEY WILL CALL US BACK -- THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.WE STILL DO NOT HAVE THE DOCUMENTS FOR OUR REFINANCE WITH ANOTHER BANK -- OUR HOUSE AND CAR INSURANCE WILL BE LEAVING RBC ASAP.THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN.

I brought my 8 year old daughter in to open her very first bank account. We dealt with Daneil M. He was absolutely fantastic. He made her feel so special and important. I can guarantee that she will never forget that experience. The customer service was excellent and he even followed up to ensure her card was working and all was well. I would highly recommend him. I have dealt with RBC for 20 years and work in finance myself. This was by far the best customer service I’ve experienced in the field.

Tried to get an account here a few years ago with my ex.The guy I had my meeting with was rude, refused to give me a credit card (even though I had one threw my other bank, and my score was fine)He sat there and talked about his divorce more than setting up an account.Super uncomfortable vibe.

Pretty fast lines. But you are just another account number. I remember years ago I would recognize the tellers and the mortgage person in their office. Say hi. The faces change too often.
