First off, the staff at this location are amazing, and none of what I'm about to say is their fault.
Despite the excellence of the team at Fredericton, our recent appliance order from them (stove, washer, dryer, dishwasher and fridge) was an absolute nightmare of missed dates, randomly changed dates, miscommunication and failed promises, all of it coming from the home depot head office. Despite the great support we received from the store team, there is absolutely no way I could ever recommend actually making any kind of serious appliance order with home depot.
It actually pains me to give the store a 1 star rating over this, but it's the only reasonable option we have to help other people avoid our experience.
Edit: Love how they didn't even bother removing the square brackets around the fields when filling in their form reply. Great attention to detail there. Also, their request to "hear more about this experience" is BS; messaged 4 hours ago just to see what would happen. Got left on read. Take from that what you will. About what I've come to expect at this point.

I attended the Home Depot in Fredericton looking for several items I could not locate. A store employee named Marcos approached me, asking if I needed help. He was indeed very helpful and courteous! Even located a smoke detector that was on sale and discontinued as that is the only style I could use in my old fixture. Just wanted to acknowledge the exceptional service by Marcos!! Thank you!!

Terrible customer service. Website states the have 1 item left....travel in to purchase, however, they would not sell because they have more coming in. TIME OF ARRIVAL WAS 8 DAYS AGO!!! IF ALL YOU HAVE ARE DISPLAY MODELS AND WILL NOT SELL THEM THEN ADJUST YOUR WEBSITE ACCORDINGLY! what ever happened to customer service!!!

We recently visited the Home Depot in Fredericton and were extremely impressed with the service we received. Darren provided us with invaluable advice on fixing our bathroom faucet, and his assistance made all the difference. He was incredibly friendly and approachable, patiently answering all our questions and ensuring we fully understood the steps involved. Darren’s knowledge was top-notch, and we left feeling confident about tackling the repair ourselves. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch his last name, but we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to him. If you’re ever in need of advice at this location, Darren is the person to talk to!

Erin in appliances is probably the most competent person I've talked to in a big box home improvement store.
Explained everything perfectly, followed up with a phone call when items were in stock and made sure the delivery went smoothly
Highly recommend her and whatever they're paying her, it isn't enough.

Fredericton store is horrible for online orders. I placed an order Aug 8 for a tree, there were 4 in-stock. Over the following 3 days I watched stock reduce to 0. I called on the 11th to confirm if my (confirmed but unprocessed) order was even available or if they sold everything without bothering to take care of mine. She assured me there was one for me, and it would be waiting for me for my pickup date of the 12th. An hour later I get an email stating my order is cacelled due to no stock. What's the point in ordering online if you sell it all to everyone (over 3 days, this wasn't a quick walk-in & soldout deal), and not even bother to put one aside for confirmed online orderers??! I won't be bothering with this store anymore, I don't get my stuff anyways. Train your staff to do their job!!!

I've never gone to Home Depot and not found what I was looking for. Always called it the "Toys-R-Us" for adults :)
The nearest one to me is 2.5 hours away and it's still my favorite hardware store.
