Pizza was delicious, but the service was terrible. We were 10 people, and 3 families. When we started ordering pizza, we were told that it was too much pizza, and they could not cook so much pizza because they said how they only have a bit of dough and they could only make some of what we asked. They rudely told us how we shouldn't expect them to make so much, how it's our fault for giving them "too much stress". So then we had to make a general order. Then we respectfully asked if we could pay separately, the answer was yes of course. Ultimately, the additional vegetables that we asked to be put in a small pizza, they were put on another pizza. We asked for an order than we CANCELED it, though they still made that pizza and we had to pay for it. When we came to pay, they told us that we divided the bill in equal numbers, but there were a different number of people and I offered to say exactly who ordered what. The hostess said that she would do it. After she made our bill, she said that since we are a large group, she's adds 20% to the price! and this does not include tips! We were shocked, the owners of the restaurant themselves did not allow us to make 3 separate orders and added 20% of the price! All the time that we were in the restaurant, the hostess was very unwelcoming! And I also forgot to say that there are no restrooms for customers. I am looking for them at TripAdvisor, but I couldn't find them, although when we arrived, there was a TripAdvisor sticker on there window.

I've come to Grand Manan three times this summer. Twice for work and once for pleasure. Each trip we came to the Old North Head Post office, sometimes twice a trip (it's that good!!). You can really taste the difference when the owner cares about his product, it's all delicious, and I will keep coming back!

Nice collection of crafts and souvenirs made by local artisans. The pizza smelled great, we will try it next time we go back.

Such a delightful place! Family owned and operated. They have pottery, clothing, pizza and penny candy! It's got everything and more. Plus, it's in the old post office so it's a quirky, one of a kind place. I highly recommend going-it's super close to the ferry terminal.

The North Head PO moved to 1 Ferry Wharf Road Grand Manan, NB E5G 3A1. The old post office building is a five minute walk to the west. The old building was sold to an entrepeneur who has divided it up into separate spaces which he rents out to small businesses. The new post office is in the same building as the Sailor's Landing restaurant. The Google map should be changed to reflect this move.
