Chubby's is a tiny eclectic little store in the middle of the hood. The owner is friendly and goes out of his way to cater to the community's needs. They have a social media presence and actively engage their customers. It's little local stores like this that I enjoy going out of my way to visit.

The store is dark and cluttered. All I got was a coffee. They had a decent selection of Keurig coffees, including Tim Hortons K-cups. I made my coffee at the self serve station and popped a lid on it, paid and walked outside to drink it as I waited for the bus. The coffee tasted a little off but I figured it was because I opted for the 8oz serving size rather than the 10oz or 12oz. When I was done, I removed the lid to get that last little sip of coffee and there was a pile of cuddled cream at the bottom of the cup...GROSS!!

Called to inquire about getting a fishing license and had a few questions what was needed I felt very rushed on the phone like the guy didnt want to be talking to me. Then after I asked him one of my questions he says really I dont know all the answers to these questions and directed me to talk to the owner and hung up not impressed with the customer service and how this was handled he seemed annoyed that I was talking to him and asking him questions. Not good experience

Was a great place now not owned by the same people...... Not my favorite place to stop by and grab snacks.... prices are very high.
