“I have been a loyal customer of Home Hardware for years and it is my first stop when I need anything big or small for my home.
The Customer service is always outstanding for today, it was over the top!!!
I built a composite deck on my front porch with all the supplies coming from Home hardware years ago, and I needed screws with corresponding plugs to match the decking for my three front steps.

Andrew, who works at the project desk in the basement went to above and beyond for me.

Not only did he save me hundreds of dollars by researching and finding the exact same screws I needed made by a company $200 cheaper than the Trex screws but he sold me the exact number I needed for my steps (approx 10 screws) instead of making me buy the whole box of 150!

Once again, this saved me another almost $200. This type of customer service is not something you find every day! I cannot commend him enough for trying to get me the best deal he could and making all of this possible.

Along with Andrew, all of the staff that I’ve ever encountered at home hardware are super friendly and eager to help in any way shape or form.

From the time you walk through the front door until you exit people are greeting you, readily available and seem so happy to be at their job. Obviously it’s a great company to work for and I will continue making it my number one stop!

“Staff were excellent during the late evening. Finding and loading the products I wished to purchase. However, I have noticed that lately they have some kind of product placement optimizing squad that has reorganized the placement of many products. These changes are not clearly communicated to staff or updated on their computer inventory. Leaving the customer to make repeated trips to customer service desk to seek refunds for products they have paid for that no longer exist in the warehouse.
Really frustrating when one stops there at days' end to shop after finishing a 12hr shift.
They could take a page from Canadian Tire on exactly how many and precisely where in the store these items are located.
That way when you're a shoppin', you don't look like your unhoused.”

“Home hardware furniture are great quality. Soon to get another one couch, after 15 years. Still wonder if we should get another sofa or not, due to still having the cushions still firm. I just love everything they sell in their stores.”
