I had a fantastic experience at Magnetic Hill Zoo! The amphibian exhibit was impressive, with a great setup that showcases a variety of species. The entire zoo is well-maintained, and the animals looked energetic and healthy. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the visit even more enjoyable. It's a perfect spot for a family day out. Highly recommend!

We were in new Brunswick for an extra day and found this perfect little gem of a zoo. Small but a very nice walk through. It said it was a 2.2 km walk. Which was very nice. Able to waste a good 5 hours here watching the animals roam. Much smaller then other zoos but able to see every animal they had. Staff talking about the condor ws very informative and knowledgeable about the animal. I would recommend anyone near Moncton new Brunswick to stop in at this little zoo and enjoy what they have to offer.

Our family visited the zoo on Sunday and I will say that 99% off the experience was amazing. It was obvious that they cared greatly for the animals and provided them with the best supports and environments for each animals individual needs. It was a lovely walk through to see all the animals and we even experienced the staff handling a medical emergency like seasoned professionals.
So why the 3 star review? Honestly I am trying to give them credit for everything they are doing so well and the obvious care and love they have the the animals in their care. What I witnessed at the tiger enclosure almost ruined the whole thing for me.
The Tiger was let out into it's enclosure which has a large clear panel that visitors can walk right up to to get closer to the tiger and take pictures. There are clear signs that say do not tap or hit the panel or tease the tiger in anyway. As soon as the tiger appeared people rushed the glass and started banging on it, yelling at the tiger and generally agitating the animal until it was leaping and roaring at the people. There were no staff in sight to protect the tiger from the abuse of the zoo patrons. The poor tiger was being mistreated with no support from it's caregivers.
I did look for staff to talk to them about it but it was the very end of the day and I couldn't find any. After the joy of seeing all the other animals so cared for this incident was disturbing and leads to my review. I hope this problem can be rectified so the tiger enjoys his habitats as much as the rest of the animals.

Loved the zoo. Paths are easy to understand. The petting sections are awesome. Do not forget to bring some toonies to buy some food for some of the animals. It's a great opportunity to get some amazing photos. There's a nice playground, too.

I loved the vibe at the zoo cause they had the boo at the zoo special, with nice Halloween decor!
A bit of a letdown in terms of animals; just felt that it was not enough!
However, it’s a nice weekend getaway !

I found the exotic animals to be dopped no movement no acknowledgement of anyone around them except the white wolves there were some animals that were not there not sure why maybe it was nap time not sure I was a little sad for them And I'm not saying anyone dropped them I'm just making a statement that it seemed that way maybe they have to take them for safety good staff though

After Omega Park between Ottawa and Montreal, I liked Magnetic Hill the best. And After coastal cliffs and caves in this province, this zoo is the main destination to see. Entrance fee looked reasonable (About 30 bucks)
In terms of routes in the zoo, to have access to different zones and to see maximum numbers of animals per mileage, it is a well-designed. It covers wide range of wildlife per continents. They had some brochures and training for kids as well @ front which I didn’t need it. Staff nice, welcome and helpful.
