The pharmacy staff were friendly and attentive, considering how busy this location always is and how much work they have. Had a problem with getting my prescription from my Dr., and they were patient and helped me through. Thank you for the work you do.

Do not call the pharmacy on holidays like today even if they are open, the second they answer the phone you can tell they don't want to be there and provide you with a very rude attitude, I called to refill a prescription not knowing it got voided by another prescription the first girl tried to argue with me instead of explaining things to me then passed the phone over to another rude woman who explained to me in a very rude way why it got voided, I spimply said oh ok I had no idea, she has reactivated this prescription that I need today but then told me it'll only be filled tomorrow, it's 11:40am when I called they close at 10pm, please hire staff who aren't going to take their anger for working a holiday out on customers, this has made me want to switch to Lawtons it's further for me but I've never had any pharmacy speak to me in a rude manner at Lawtons.

Makeup department is very helpful and nice but that's about it for this store. The pharmacy is outright rude and the wait times are outrageous. My most recent visit I also noticed someone setting up Mouse/Rat traps with bait peanut butter on them. Disgusting to advertise that you have a rodent problem during the middle of the day.

Over the past year this Shoppers Drug Mart has turned out to be the Shoppers I knew it could be. Kudos to the staff for their hard work.

A very rude pharmacy staff member answered the phone today at 9:59 am. I called desperate for a solution for my daughters problem. I asked if they had a product or anything similar, she proceeded to say"Theres nothing like that im aware of, thanks" and hung up.unbelievably poor customer service .i know where not to go!!

I have decided today that I will no longer use this pharmacyI find that the service at the pharmacy has greatly changed since the pandemic. They have very bad people skills. They would blame this on the pandemic and the fact that they were short staffed and busy. This was understandable.We are no longer in that situation and they are obviously not short staffed but the attitude is still, can’t be bothered. Rude. This used to be my go to pharmacy, but I have no clue what happened between 2015-2021… rudeness from everyone but the cosmetic department. The pharmacist told me to stop talking and lying when they messed up my prescriptions for the third time.. The pharmacist assistant told me it wasn’t his problem that the doctor didn’t write the slip properly (call and ask perhaps). Another pharmacist told me that the transfer from Montreal was very sloppy, but I think he just didn’t understand it because it was in French, there’s nothing wrong with the transfer.. My pharmacist was excellent and I never had an issue over there. Customer service on the phone is always terrible. I don’t understand why they still have customers.. Very disappointed. This was the last straw.

There are definitely stock issues, especially with items marked as "On Sale" never being restocked, which during the pandemic has become par for the course elsewhere, as well. What shouldn't be, however, is delays in filling prescriptions. In the past year we've seen a consistent story where we're told to come back the next day for pickup. My wife has on-going prescriptions that require filling and we've had to make adjustments to make sure we get them in a timely manner. That all changed today.When my wife went in to pick up her prescription, she was told that it's not ready, that she should come back tomorrow. My wife asked the reason and was told that stock only arrived today. When pressed as to why they didn't tell us that at the time of requesting the renewal, and why no follow-up call was made, a non-committal answer was given as to how, "They must have tried to call," to which my wife pointed out that there were no calls on her phone. Pressing further, she was told that the delays are because they are giving priority to orders from a local old age home.I get that we're not the only customers and, while it may be understandable to process certain orders first, none of this has never been communicated. They still take public orders via their shop and phone, despite priorities given to what amounts to a corporate client. If this is the case, then they should realistically up their staffing to compensate for the additional workload. If they're not able to do that, then they need to consider closing the public-facing portion of their business to focus on their corporate services. If they're unwilling to do that, then they need to ensure they have people's phone numbers, and to actually phone if there are changes to the promised delivery/processing times.We've been going to this Shoppers for roughly 3 years and the first two were great. This past year, however, has been extremely frustrating with these continued issues and the poor service. When being asked where we want our prescriptions filled, we've had practitioners groan and say, "Oh, THAT one!" Judging from the other recent reviews this seems to be a theme at this location: Poor service.If you are looking for a pharmacy, especially for what used to be normally-accepted turn around times, I would sincerely suggest going elsewhere. I've had great service from Jean Coutu on St. George St., with less than an hour turn around time for orders processed there. This Shoppers' service times and stock issues, however, are honestly tragic and requires immediate attention!EDIT: Here's a screenshot of how busy they are currently. If something is promised within a certain time frame, it should be rushed to ensure customer satisfaction. Especially when you're "Not too busy".

Was second in line when the cashier was finished with the person in front of me , never said a word then walked away leaving me standing there for 15 minutes then came back to ring me through. Not a good place for customer service. From now on I'll go to a different location.

I moved to town for uni and transfered to this pharmacy since it's near campus and I'm very dissapointed. Horrible wait time, rude or unfriendly saff and they make alot of mistakes.
