“I recently was in contact with Mrs.Varma as I was many years ago, a former student. She told me about her studio. As I no longer live in the area I went to her website, where I discovered so many beautiful pieces of art. I instantly knew that I must have one of her pieces. It was hard to choose on one. However, as I very much love flowers I decided upon the print, entitled The Miracle. The vivid colours, the array of different flowers to me captured the true beauty and indeed, the artistry of flowers. You will not be disappointed with any item from Salt Marsh Studio. “Stopped by for a quick walk with my dog a few days ago and the grounds around the gallery are surprisingly welcoming for pets, so we wandered right in after checking with the staff at the front desk. The woman working the entrance was genuinely happy to chat about which rooms were fine for us to peek into while my dog waited outside with my partner, and she even pointed us toward the quieter afternoon hours to avoid the campus crowds. The permanent collection room has this great natural light coming through the windows that makes even old paintings feel alive, and it gave me a solid ten minutes to actually enjoy art instead of just walking past it. Parking right out front made the whole stop easy, and honestly it turned a simple dog walk into a nice little afternoon.”
