Nice and clean store/restaurant but impossible to get hot food at 715pm and that's including the hot rolls.. It should be renamed Small Stop.

Clean bathroom, large selection of items , HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !Haylee was very rude to me for absolutely no reason. I had taken a picture , as many reviewers do, for my mother of her favourite soda. She lives across the country and was worried about me driving through the night. I had pulled over to get diesel, use the washroom and browse the items they had for sale.She was very rude when asking me why I was taking a picture. It was none of her business what I was doing taking a photo. I ignored that and inquired about an item for sale behind the counter. She didn’t even take the time to show it to me after telling me the price and then took the two customers behind me before assisting me and telling me she had a lot of things on the go.She was rude, intrusive and inconsiderate towards me, a paying customer.When I returned to my vehicle and told the story to the party travelling with me, I was told by them that she was rude to them also.Will stop here again for fuel but I wouldn’t even buy a glass of water here ever again.Would give zero stars if I could.

Employees are very unprofessional, not courteous and have a bad attitude. Would not consider anyone to go there for anything but an emergency.

I had bought a bag of sunflower seed at this store lately and discovered that there was a problem with it, it was stale and had no flavor as it normally does. I contacted Krispy kernels directly and they sent my a coupon for a product replacement. I had the opportunity to go back to the same store today to buy a product with the coupon. I chose a bag, went to the cashier and was told after a moment that they couldn’t use the coupon. I found this odd and initially left the store. I came back into the store after thinking about the situation and told the cashier that I wanted to see the manager. After waiting a bit the manager finally appeared, talked to the cashier, made a phone call to someone and then seemed irritated and plopped the bag in from of me and said “there!” I said “thanks” and left.
This interaction was unpleasant for me as it made me feel like I was receiving something that I was not entitled to have even though I as a consumer did everything that I was supposed to do. I deal with customers and I could not interact with them like this. If i run into something unusual where I don’t know what to do, I call my superior and if they don’t know what to do you keep going up the chain of command, not make the customer feel like he’s doing something wrong.
I am a regular circle k/Irving customer as it is convenient to shop there and I get air miles. Interactions such as these make me wonder how circle k/Irving trains their employees to deal with customers.
