Written on behalf of Stephen Dow:I’m a disabled man with MS. I drive an electric scooter as I’m unable to walk more than a few steps. I visited the Circle K on City Rd/Garden St at approximately 10:30pm on January 22,2024. The customer service/counter attendant stood looking on as I attempted to enter the store, which does not have a disability button to press for entrance. The attendant, probably in his 40s, was old enough to recognize that I’m disabled and simply stood and watched me, even though there was nobody else in the store for him to attend to. It took me at least 3-5 minutes to gain entrance. He could clearly see that I was struggling. I made a purchase and then attempted to exit the store. I was angry and frustrated at that point and didn’t see any point in asking for his assistance, as he made no move to leave his spot behind the counter. I had to use my arm and the front left tire of my scooter to bull my way out the door. This is the poorest example of customer service that I’ve encountered since becoming disabled. I hope this is brought to his attention so that he can be better trained in dealing with disabled customers. He should be reprimanded for his utter laziness so that no one else, including myself, is treated with such disrespect or neglect going forward! Terrible experience!

Stopped off the highway to use the bathroom. Says it’s open 24 hours but they close the bathrooms at night even for paying customers. A huge inconvenience for travelers. Just skip this place.

I purchase gas and coffee at this store almost everyday and once the cup had tiny holes all around the bottom, which leaked everywhere.. So I started to double cup due to fear that it would happen again. Well now they are charging 1.75 for the extra cup. In addition to that they often have large line ups at the cash while other employees are there not doing much. Will buy my coffee and gas elsewhere, due to poor service and Poor consideration.
