The only reason for a 4 rating is because I had to find someone to help us. They said they only had 2 staff out of 10 for the flooring department that day. Service wasn't the best. I had to measure the flooring and find where the 16-foot rolls were on my own. Staff shortage.

Came here for some carpet, Paul, I believe that was his name; was extremely patient and helpful. Not only that, but every employee who worked there asked us if we needed help at least once. We went from being lost and confused to finishing a room with carpet and trim confidently.

We are currently doing home renovations and have spend a lot of money. We wanted to support local businesses as we think that is importantWe purchased all of our hardwood within the last 30 days , to redo our floors, and noticed that the flooring is now 15% off . We spoke with the manager John MacDonald to request the 15% off - to apply the money to the 4 new appliances we were going to purchase from them . John was actually quite rude and said “ nope “Very disappointed ?The toilet I had purchased during our renovation was defective and they were not going to refund that either , but after much complaining that they sold me a defective toilet they did agree ?I would not recommend Ritchies if the return policy is this bad
