I started sewing only a couple of months ago after buying a machine second hand, brought the machine in and they fixed it up like new! Then I decided to buy a new machine to take away with me and not only were they super helpful in picking a machine but even gave me a trade in for the old machine! They also have a free 1 year in store warranty! They have my business for life after making both my experiences so easy!

Thank you SO much for getting my old Kenmore back to its former glory! It hasn't run this well in years and you have cleaned up so many of the annoyances that I thought I had to put up with as it is so old. Fast service and very knowledgeable. The only place to bring or buy a sewing machine. Thank you!

I am SO pleased with this company. They restored my 40+ year old machine to "purr like a kitten". Now I am loving to sew again. Terrific not to have to learn all the gadgets on a new machine. The owners are so knowledgeable and very helpful. I recommend them big time and they have so many restored machines to sell as well. Certainly worth the trip. Thanks for excellent service.

This is possibly the best place you could have service your sewing machine. If you are buying a machine go here and speak with Terry. He is very knowledgeable about the product he carries and has an extensive knowledge of the history of machines and the companies who manufacture them.

I wasn't even a customer, just on a road trip and happened to pass by. The owner was very friendly, led me on a tour of the store, and we chatted about sewing machine repair for an hour. The place is definitely worth a visit just to go and touch everything, it is better than any museum you can go to.

The owners are very knowledgeable and accommodating with my work schedule. Everything was completed very fast but they did not mind waiting around my pay schedule.They've always given my sister excellent service so I took my machine here. Wow! Predicted fix of my machine was about a week. I dropped it off on Saturday am, talked about my visiting seamstress Mum and the fact that she was sewing a grad dress for my daughter. We needed the machine as seamstress nana was leaving the following week. 12:30, half hour before closing before a long weekend, the machine has a quick fix performed which will get us through to complete the dress. SY yes to Saint John Sewing Centre. They know a seamstress' needs!!!!

Excellent service and very knowledgeable!! It took them all of 5 minutes to diagnose the problem after my MANY hours of trying “google” haha Very efficient and fair The shop is also much bigger than it looks from the outside and they have a lot more stock than I would have expected Highly recommend their services, machines and notions
