This is the first review I've ever posted anywhere, but after reading some of these bad reviews, espeically from some listed as "local guides" who I do not recognize even though I've lived in this small city (where everyone knows everyone, or their neighbour knows them) since the 1980's, I decided to give my own local citizen review. I opened my account with TD's uptown branch 20 ish years ago, possibly for the wrong reasons as they were giving out free ipods when opening an account as a promotion, however I've never regretted choosingTD as my preferred bank. I've opened many accounts since and enjoy the peace of mind doing business with them. I frequently visit the East Point branch for my banking needs and all I can say is for the amount of negative people in this world who feel everyone else should be rushed and they should be provided exceptional customer service would be those who do not fare well here. This branch goes above and beyond for every customer, they do not rush their customers, they listen attentively and treat everyone as if they are the most important person in that moment. It's easy to have robatic transactions with someone and go through the motions of job requirement and move on to the next. That is not the experience here. They will listen to your needs and assist in a compassionate way that makes you feel heard. This is also the only bank I've ever done business with that has provided a 2 day turn-around time for ordering foreign currency for my overseas travel. Going above and beyond that, for times I've had to call TD customer service, their call center agents are on par with the customer service level of their tellers, ensuring everything is handled without rushing to get me off the phone.You're not treated as just a number to have to put up with at this bank, you're treated as a human being with compassion. The people working here are wonderful and a rare commodity in this day and age of rude customer service. If you're looking for a bank that makes you feel like a waste of time and energy then this isn't the bank for you. But if you're looking for a bank that will always take their time to ensure you're heard and your needs are met, go here.

Worst Branch ever, long waiting lines, took them 2 hours to close safety deposit box.Customer service is garbage.They have no idea of customer retention , TD should be ashamed of their training courses for their employees, they are worse we took off every business we had with Td and never going back!

Not going to lie, sometimes it has a bit of a line inside. But other times you'd be the only one. The tellers are very good at there jobs! They're helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Just went through bank machine at 4pm. Bank was just closing. Went through drive thru machine. Received taped up money 20$ and one 20$ that has the entire end ripped off. Well can't go to store now. Thanks TD

I would give 0 stars if possible. This branch is horrible, I had dealt with them for the past 3 years and a half and every big life event with our mortgages it has been a nightmare. No sense of rush or importance to get things done. They are constantly missing documents and signatures, I had dealt with 4 different advisors, my conclusion is this branch is the problem.

TD shutting down my bank account, so i called and asked for assitance with the number posted in the letter. They lady told me there was no explanation as to why my account is being shut down. I asked if there was someone i could speak with and her answer was; I am the final point of contact and her only duty was to advise me on how to move my assets out of there bank. Now i see why td has such a low rating. Bye TD!!

Always long lines, the teller asked me to step aside so he could serve another customer while he waited for someone higher up to get my money from the vault... I didn't want my financial situation discussed while serving someone else beside me. Changing to a new bank.

Hands down the slowest bank in the city.. They are under staffed and dont even answer the phone. I had to close my account after waiting 30 minutes or longer everytime I went in.
