Value Village, a Savers brand, is a global thrift retailer that offers a wide selection of gently used clothing, accessories, and household goods. The store follows a Rethink Reuse® model, purchasing, reselling, and recycling items to help communities and reduce waste, keeping over 700 million pounds of used goods from landfills each year. It supports over 100 nonprofit organizations by buying donated items, providing crucial revenue to community programs. With more than 300 locations and 20,000 employees, Value Village is known for its large store size and variety of items. Customers appreciate the store for its good quality items at affordable prices, especially when knowing what to look for. Many find that prices are reasonable compared to retail or clearance rack prices, though some recent increases have made shopping less attractive, with some items becoming overpriced and close to retail prices. The staff is often helpful, offering quick service and a human checkout option. While the selection is generally good, some customers feel that the pricing, especially for art and certain items, has become too high, reflecting a shift towards more profit-focused sales. Overall, Value Village is seen as a solid option in the area, providing a mix of affordable finds and supporting community initiatives through its donation-based model.
As they keep raising prices it soon won't be a thrift store anymore. It will be just be a used goods store. Was once our go to for deals, but not as much now. Interesting that their racks are overfull with donations they are trying to get premium price for. Many items sit for weeks on end with silly high prices.

Pretty good selection, I enjoyed the books. However, some of the prices could be better

Quick and prompt service to get checked out. I didn’t want self checkout so they made a human available for me. Greatly appreciate that human touch.
