Horrible customer service! My boyfriend purchased a faulty 70” tv today (it would not turn-on). He is currently on temporary leave at work because he injured his back, and his discomfort when walking is obvious to anyone. The lady at returns did not make any effort at finding an employee to help him unload his truck and get the tv. She seemed more annoyed at his request than anything. Come on lady.. ! You could have at least told him to roll around the back and radio’d one of the pickup deliveries guys to help him. They are there working anyway. I am appalled!

I was buying stuff and just ask help from the person name Gaurav and he just ignored and even not said he is dealing with someone else customer, he just simply ignored. So, weird attitude.

I am growing increasingly frustrated with the staff at self checkout. 9 times out of 10 staff will come over to my baby in the cart, get in her face, touch her, etc. I have had to say “please don’t touch my baby” and they don’t seem to get it. I think a training course on personal space may be required for the staff.

I hate being at Walmart and I’ll never come for the shopping again as the cashier at the return are so rude… me and my friend tried to return one item, we had a receipt in the phone, was clearly scanable but the cashier denied it’s not working and need physical receipt, then i went and ask if you can try again Russell named cashier was there, she gave me so weird expressions and didn’t try scanning it and asked for number and then said it’s not working, then I asked that I have time and date on it and you guys can get receipt from the systems but she denied that it takes so long so we do it for very expensive items,,,, it’s so weird if the person have to return $20 item they don’t have right to return and if it takes time then what is for cashier there… I really got disappointed there .,. Will never shop there againToday I tried with another cashier,,,, and she did scan it for with in first try and helped me out… this means the cashier yesterday was not even willing to help me 1%

Good Eve to you all. Let me tell you, when my bus pulled upto this fine building the corner of my mouth turned up slightly. Mary Sue was all giggles and gleeful smiles. Typical for someone who sits at the front of the bus like her. I was as a cool as a cucumber that this Walmart definitely didn't have in stock. I nodded to the driveguy on my way down the bus, that's what us cool cats call drivers. Upon entering the store Mary Sue went to the McDonald's, but I was on the look for something refined and headed to the freezer section. I weaved through the many Walmart vests like a golden peacock. Finally! I found what I came here for, I grabbed the hungry-man packaged fried chicken and scoffed. HA! I won this time Walmart. Heading to the self checkouts I eyed Mary Sue heading back to the bus. Amateur! I thought to myself. I breezed my way through the machines like an artificial intelligence robot. They should hire me, if they could afford me. I thought as I winked on my way out.

Donna, the personnel manager, is petty, selfish and condescending to anyone who has more ambition than her.When employees or candidates ask her about opportunities to advance, she always replies "I'll be retiring in two years and you can take my job".She said it to me when I worked at Walmart in 2022 and she said it again to a candidate at an interview in 2023. This was her only reply. I responded to the candidate during the group interview "I worked as a CAP 3 stocking shelves and I'm here today to be interviewed for a Department Manager position." I also said "there was another Walmart on the west side and Walmart is the largest retailer in the world." meaning that there are lots of opportunities. Donna replied "the west side store isn't a supercentre, this location is the only supercentre."I left Walmart in 2022 to go work at Costco because it paid more to do the same job. The job was seasonal and I successfully completed the term. When I showed up for my interview on Tuesday, Donna made the snotty remark, knowing I went to Costco, "did the other job not work out?" I replied "it was a seasonal job."After the group interview on Tuesday, I was told to stay behind after everyone left. Donna told me I had to be interviewed again by a higher-up because it was a management position. Two days later, I received an email saying that I am no longer being considered for the position.When I worked at walmart in 2022, I nominated a person for the Shining Star reward which is essentially an employee of the month recognition and reward. The employee was brought to tears by my overwhelming review, she told me nobody has ever said those things about her job and she said she printed off a copy of my review/nomination and kept it. The shining star program is only for Associates. Donna is a personnel MANAGER with an office and she took the reward, I think it's $80. This made my stomach turn and it really bothered me, but I had let it go.Donna also made a comment about me wearing a "3 piece suit" to a job interview at Walmart. I shrugged it off, but, the reason is because I respect Walmart as the largest retailer in the world and largest private sector employer and I wanted Walmart to respect me as well.I look forward to Donna's retirement. She's been there for 38 years, since Walco, and she has completely given up on being a valuable team member.Donna is a bad apple. I will wait for her retirement before reconsidering working at Walmart in Saint John.

I have on more than one occasion had the good fortune of having Kat in electronics/ photos help me. Amazing customer service by Kat. I left there in the past thinking I should send a review, and forgot, but no forgetting this time.Thanks Kat for being so knowledgeable and pleasant with an electronically challenged middle aged woman.

I’m not a huge shopper but over the last 8 months I have found that every time I go to this store, the shelves are never stocked and it’s very hard to find helpful service. I purchased a mini deep freeze this summer and I couldn’t find anyone to help me with it, I ended up putting it on the cart myself, rang it in by myself walked out the door and put it in my car with no help offered and in the end a helpful customer helped me get it in my car. This store is turning into a no service do it all yourself store, which I don’t feel reflect on the prices.

Very poor customer service. Rude workers too. Your stupid self checkouts should take coupons without needing the entire staff + 30 minutes to verify them.

Horrible place. Clutter, clutter and more clutter. I don't think this place has cleaners and the lighting is awful. The shelves are barely stocked and there is never enough carts along with awful staff who do not understand customer service. It is just a horrible experience. The best thing to do with this place is to knock it down and save everyone from the trauma of trying to shop there!

This Walmart is still changing the floor plan, and it's hard to find most general staples of food most of us use weekly. There produce is bad for the most part. Blackened lettuce is gross. You must give everything a hood hard look before taking it home. I buy most of my groceries there but go to a different store for all my produce.
