I got "framed" today at this Canadian Tire. Employees followed me everywhere. I had taken in a couple shopping bags with me inside. Maybe that was the reason?! I eventually confronted an employee and asked if he wanted to look in my bags. He jumped on the occasion - that was obviously his goal. After he looked and saw nothing in my bags he didn't seem sure still and was looking at my purse so I let him look inside of it. Still, not enough! I took off my jacket. He continued to look at me suspiciously!? I asked if he wanted me to get naked?! I kept asking what I done to deserve this and he kept saying he didn't have to explain himself because I had "suspicious behavior"!? I was trying on boots that someone recommended to me. I spoke to a manager about it who also seemed to think I was suspicious!? The more I defended myself, the more they seemed to think I was suspicious... What a horrible experience!! I had never lived this before. I can't imagine being the type of person who gets framed all the time. This was really hard on my self-esteem. Employees and customers looked at me like a thief. For no reason at all!!

I said I think my oil has a problem. I know your garage is closed but can you help me please? I didn't know what to do he came outside check my oil found that I was empty ,look on the computer so I could buy the good type of oil and showed me how to check my oil and to be safe to make it back to Pei .He was right something wasn't right on my car .They had to change the oil plug ! Jonathan was an angel even busy he took the time to help me ....That guy deserved a raise ! Even the cashier was so nice I forgot my points card I told her and she was kind enough to retrieve it with my phone number! Also both were bilingual !!!Wonderful staff thank you

My lovely wife Pat and I were just passing through town when I had to use a washroom. Knowing C.T.'s usually have washrooms available, I pulled into this store.Rushing in, I asked the first employee where the washrooms were. Once politely directed, I went where planned and found relief. Very clean, well kept premises.Leaving directly, I was pleased with the fluidity of this stores operation. Kind staff and welcoming atmosphere. Look forward to a return visit whenever the need arises.

I am thankful for the Canadian Tire store in Shediac , NB. We were going to travel home from our vacation when we discovered that one of our tires on our RV was flat. We came to this store for help. The service staff were so great in taking care of fixing our flat tire in a quick, friendly manner. I give this service centre 5 stars!!!! We travelled safely home to Ontario.?

This 12$ sandpaper is now locked up "ask for assistance and item must be carried to the cash by employee". Its located in the socket aisle, among countless smaller, more expensive and more easily opening packaging. Where is the logic on this? Then i have to wait in line, in the one open service counter, ask to get sandpaper out of the cabinet, go back to the aisle and meet some guy who was probably called from doing something else in the store. But now im not trusted to carry this item around, so straight to cash we go, forget whatever else i needed. Is this really going to be the new "normal"? Employee said "well it just takes one person to ruin it for everyone, have a nice day" walks away. I understand the need for loss prevention, but come on. If we all need a personal shopper to accompany us is this business really going to make it long term? I needed additional items out of other cabinets but im certainly not having some cranky employee follow me around from aisle to aisle then be hurried out because i cant hold the items myself. Ridiculous.

Really like to search for items on my phone and search letting me know the quantity and location in the store. Or if the store is out, the closest CT location with the item.

I live in Shediac so it is convenient to shop there... Unfortunately, the service there is terrible and their inventory is never there. Specifically, their automotive section is the worst !!! We have gone there on a number of occasions and the most recent was to buy 4 new tires for our Jeep. The guy at the counter could not be more useless. He had nothing in stock (even though their website said they did), wasn't helpful at all, told us it would take 3 weeks for an appointment and said that we should probably try another store 20+ miles away. It was the worst customer service we have encountered since moving here 3 years ago.We ended up going to Moncton to get the tires (Dieppe location) and they could not have been nicer. They quickly installed the tires and the customer service was terrific.Every time we go to the Shediac location it is purely out of desperation because there is limited stores in the area to do any type of shopping for certain items. Its worth driving the extra miles to avoid going to the Shediac store.
