During the pandemic I bought Firestone tires from Canadian Tire I had to order them online and to have them installed it took too long so I had them installed in another garage. 23 months later the tires are 12000km not even 2 years old cracking no sense and the manager of the service department is the procedure not installed here not guaranteed she seems to forget that the procedure in covid was quite different. Firestone says it's guaranteed but Canadian has to pull it and they don't want it. So take a detour and go somewhere else.

Your typical Canadian tire with pretty much everything you need and friendly staff.

I have had mixed experiences at Canadian Tire, in general, I love the store and the flyers and commercials. I have had mixed feelings about certain stores however.
This review is very specific to the one in Tracadie-Sheila.
I was delighted to find that there was a near by CT store when I was staying at cottages in Tabasintac . A post hurricane store was passing through and I knew they would have what I needed (and they did). So this is by no means a complaint about the staff or not having things in store.
This store, due I am told to theft issues, is the most unsafe store I have ever been in, I will never return there. I will be contacting the provincial standards board about it as well. While in the store, I started to get calls from my alarm company about an issue at my home. I could not understand them due to poor cell signal and I could not login because the wifi did not work in the store. I was attempting to get out of the store to talk to my security company because my 75yr old mother inlaw was feeding our cats while away and had somehow triggered the alarm (Thanks Telus, your review will coming next!) and I was worried the police would be called and she would have a heart attack.
Well, there is no way out of the store without buying something! They put in those cow hearding fences but filled with products and I am sure they are NOT legal width so there was no way out that way and when I approached the exit "only" it was setting off alarms....Before you suggest it, I am bilingual and could read ALL the french only signs...(what they hell?! when I lived in NB it was bilingual, shame on you Tracadie!) anyway, to make a long story short, I climbed over a gate to get out because I was worried about the alarm and my mother-inlaw....I told the guy at the door about the no exit issue and he pointed at this gate, and when I went back in after the emergency was sorted out, I had to follow the gate backwards to follow the path people are supposed to use to get out without buying something...ABSOLUTELY NO SIGNS for it. They really want you to buy something or at least be forced to walk down that long line of impulse purchaces in the "cow-catcher line" I hate those things! I purposesly will NEVER buy anything in those things and usually leave the store if they try and force us to follow that path. Implimenting them is not only annoying, but without signage they are damn dangerous. How do you get out of a canadian tire in a emergency for goodness sake. I never used the items and when I get a chance after work I am returning them. I will buy them from another company. I will never go to Canadian tire again if those cattle hearding devices are in place or if there is no clear exit if you are not purchasing something. Shame on the greedy owners, and shame on canadian tire for allowing this behaviour!

Nice store, clean. Some employees are extremely courteous while others don't seem like they want to be there. But I'm still satisfied.

I like this Canadian Tire but there is a problem here I give it two stars!
I still recommend this store because you can find almost everything there and it is the largest compared to the one in Bathurst or Miramichi which is smaller on the other hand.
Update April 17, 2024:
This Canadian Tire doesn’t even allow pets in the store! Why do this to customers? The area is larger in this Canadian tire than Bathurst or even Miramichi! Imagine hot summer days at 30 degrees or more, dogs could well be accepted at Canadian Tire rather than being refused! Being a former owner of an English Cocker Spaniel whose name was Tobby, it's terrible to do this to customers, but the service is super good I couldn't ask for better!

Quite a choice but be careful the prices often contain errors. And a small renovation would not be a luxury
