I have camped here many times. I watched the new bath house being built this past summer. I always go to the same spot with my "QUIET" Honda gold Wing-it's NOT BELT Driven* and trailer. I heard the new bath haus will be operational 2024. I was sad the great eatery up next to the golf course was closed. I did visit the cafe' next to the Presidents' summer home. Fantastic! Always a wonderful time, and chill out Zone. Thanks you all* at the Park! Superbia to the Nth Degree. Little alarmed/where did all the masses of Wonderful Eagles go?? just a Grande' Parc!! Canada/I'm from WinterPeg!! Garth-Ster!! :--}

I walk around the campground and through the day use area nearly every day from May to September. They have added some new cabins recently and soon will have a much needed bathhouse at the waterfront campground. The viewing platform overlooking the beach and out to Grand Manan is worth walking to. You can walk the beach all the way to the Roosevelt Campobello International Park and with some road walking you can complete the trail which leads you back to the day use area past the Rock of Gibraltar. The trails in the park definitely need maintenance however. Even the trail from the main campground to the day use area and waterfront campground needs gravel and drainage. The trail from the campground to rmRock of Gibraltar needs major maintenance. From the Glen Severn road to the Rock of Gibraltar The bridges are in good shape, but there are some trees that need to be cut. And also would be nice if they actually made a parking lot for the trail on the Glen Severn road.

Nicely wooded sites at Herring point provincial park, in the electronically section. Nice walk to the beach.Water is too cold to swim but the kayaking was great.Lovely little island, went five nights and loved it. Nice hike to liberty point thé the light house is a fun visit.

I certainly enjoyed our stay here. Camping spots include ones nestled into the trees and others in open field areas. In all cases there was a lot of space between spots. My spot was very nearly level. I enjoy hiking and there are plenty of trails. Trail maintenance is clearly a very low priority. Many trails have standing water without bogwalk and there are many trees down across the trails. The trails are largely flat old carriage trails. Some are blazed and on official maps and some are not. At least one was completely overgrown (it was a side trail along the water). All are pretty.Shelters/cabins also exist and certainly looked nice as I walked by.Playground: Nice playgrounds exists for the kids. These included swings, slides, climbing, volleyball pits, and more.Restrooms: Restrooms were clean with nice hot free sowers. I had no wait to use the sowers in the late evening.Dog-friendliness: Dogs are allowed pretty much everywhere except out on the beach.

Beautiful, quiet campground minutes from the water. Campground centrally located on the island. No water or sewer on site. Fire pit. Very large sites with a choice of fully and partially wooded or open field. Small playground with a mini splash pad. Camping cabins available.

I can't say enough about this campground. It's part of a provincial park so the rates are low. There aren't many amenities like a pool etc so you don't have tons of loud and annoying people around. It is nice and quiet and clean. The shower facilities are excellent and the staff is A+++. I originally was scheduled to camp during memorial day weekend but one of the kids got sick the day before we left. I called to cancel and they refunded me no questions asked. I was planning on caulking up as a loss. So we went a couple weeks later. We were running late and weren't going to make check in before closing time. I gave them a call and they checked me in over the phone. No big deal. I will be staying again in the future.PS. this is a power only hook up campground. No water or sewer but there is a dump station and potable water locations around the campground.

Beautiful park, potable water at dumpstation, 30 amp power at RV sites. Not super dog friendly, for example at Beach.

Well maintained and staffed. Potable water spigot easily accessible, multiple toilets, showers a short walk, and the water views and beach are spectacular

Very nice camp site! We had 30 Amp service so we needed a 30 to 50 Amp adaptor cord and no water hook up but we filled out tank on the way in at the water station. We dumped at the station on the way out. Worked perfectly. Each site had a firepit and wood is available at check in. Gate closes at 11pm however you can not check in after 8pm. Be aware that they are 1 hour ahead so 7pm in Lubec Maine US side of the bridge is 8pm on Canadian side of the bridge. Great time and great campsite. No complaints and will camp there again.

My fave place to camp. Theres group camping with a playground but also wooded sites. Free hot showers, its never crowded. Firewood is a good deal. Situated by Herring Cove Beach.

Great provincial park. Trails are lovely, never crowded. Beach is great for walking, playing in the sand, picnics. There are a few small play structures for children. Highly recommend. Trails and beaches are free to enjoy! They also have a nice restaurant, a challenging 9 hole golf course and camping.
