A small-town general store, worthy of your business and a five-star rating. I did not have a sandwich there, but I bet they are good. Otherwise, this place has a decent grocery selection given its size, a lot of good baked goods and premade food, and friendly staff with reasonable prices.

I went in not expecting much, but was delighted with the most delicious "Chicken Bomb" sandwich. It was perfection. The portion was generous, the chicken was juicy and flavorful and cut into perfectly sized pieces. The pesto mayo, which I got extra of, was so yummy, and it came on fresh ciabatta. Would love to come back here even though I was just passing through.

The Alstead store is always great! The staff is friendly and very good at what they do! Keep up the great work! PS - We appreciate the extra hour of shopping at the e d of the day - as do many people!

Down to earth old fashioned little store with food ranging from the hot dogs in one of those rotating warmer things to sandwiches made from local beef. I’ve heard it’s run by volunteers.

I love New Hampshire "Mom and Pop"/ general stores. There's good homemade food, groceries, great attitudes and good pricing. I loved this store and will def stop by anytime I'm in the area!!
