You can tell Chris really cares about your experience and that he loves what he does. He stays on top of the trends, keeps the gear/equipment in great condition, and offers delivery service. My family has a place on the lake and we have been renting from these guys for years. Sometimes only for a day, but this time we rented 2 for the whole week. The delivery and pickup service is clutch and they are great with communication. We even texted our last day when they were scheduled to pick up the boards and asked if we could have one more sunset paddle and they said yes and made a special trip in the AM the next day so we could have the night. they explain the diff of inflatable vs hard paddleboards and are very knowledgeable (we went with hard boards this time). I email/call and rent in advance (a few weeks) because I’m a planner like that, but you can always call and see what is avail at anytime. Also, if you are new to paddle boarding, rain in the forecast doesn’t always mean hold on reserving. It usually means the water is even more calm so it can be ideal. The weather up here can change on a dime too, so 2 of the days we had rain, but were able to paddleboard everyday anyways. I will be continuing to rent from them each year!

The SUP Shop is fun! The owner is one of the first (if not the very first) to introduce paddle boarding to the Lakes Region. Chris and his family have a great passion for outdoor recreation and it shines through their customer-service. They’re some of the most culture-friendly people in the sport. Good things!

Excellent customer service, was able to walk in and hire paddle boards, kayaks. Friendly staff. Dropped boards at the town boat launch and picked them up after. Extremely hassle free and would recommend them if you're looking to rent paddle boards or kayaks.

Brilliant time out on the water. The team were helpful and very friendly. Some of us paddle boarded, some kayaked. Good way to spend a few hours on the lake!

What a blast! I’ve been wanting to try SUPing since one attempt a couple of years ago on a sub par board. I just did some searching online and found these guys. They responded immediately to my voicemail (called after hours) and setting up our week-long rental was super easy. They deliver which was key since these things are 10.6’ long and I was in a rental car. We were on Lovell Lake, not exactly close and Chris came on their day off and gave us the best lesson (about 30 minutes.) I wanted the lesson for my teen who would listen more to someone other than his mother. Well the lesson proved to be so important. You think you can just pop on one of these things and go. Chris gave us so many great tips that I would’ve never thought of. The importance of the oar length, where on the board to stand (it’s not obvious), how to avoid feet fatigue! The boards were in great condition and Chris was exactly on time when he dropped off and picked up, and he communicated along the way. Really made our trip so fun and I will rent from them every year we are in town. Thank you for the awesome experience!

I messaged the store on messenger, and was replied to right away, even when the business was not even open yet. I went in and they gave me all the details about paddle boards, I’m a total newbie! Great service, and very friendly!

My kids rented Paddleboard’s yesterday 8/30/20, this was a reservation that was set in advance. We arrived at Alton Bay on a windy day, the boards were delivered and off the kids went. Watching the weather and reading some Facebook posts, I became nervous and went to look for them. Someone had notified Marine Patrol and had them escort the kids back to shore. I believe as a company that rents equipment they have a responsibility to inform their clients. They should never have let them out in the Bay, as Marine Patrol said.

Excellent service! I called and spoke with Chris on Sunday, he gave me lots of info about the different boards they had in stock - when I went today to pick out a board it was quick, friendly, and fast delivery!! Their prices were below MSRP for the board I got - I can't wait to get it on the water.

It's our second season renting from these guys and it's always a blast! We rented the 6 person paddleboard this time around. Literally every single person was jumping off and having a great time. I recommend it to everyone and the price was great! I believe it was cheaper than renting 3 single paddle boards.
