“I took my German Sheperd here this morning for her annual visit. I've been wanting to change vet's for awhile now. I have nothing negative to say. Everyone was super friendly as soon as we walked through the door. My dog liked everyone as well which is great. A visable sign was that she laid down on the floor and sighed deeply while waiting for the vet to come in. They were very thorough, answering questions and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable there. I definitely will be remaining here for my dogs care!”

“I want to say thank you to these amazing people. I had to take my cat to the emergency vet to be put down yesterday he was 19 years old and gasping for breath and needed to let him go. The emergency vet people put him down but because I didn't have the funds to pay for the ashes they forced me to take him home in a box I threw up and begged them to please not make me take him home they said to put him in a freezer and bring him back on Thursday when I got paid I lost it I was pushed out the door and sent on my way. My sister called caring hands to see if they could help. They took him and explained I could pick him up new Monday and that I can pay when I pick them up. These people were so sweet and willing to help me even through I do not bring my animals here they were able to help me give him a proper burial and where willing to help someone who was financially strapped. Thank you so much for all the help and being so kind I wish I could bring my pets here I hope one day there is an opening they are so kind and willing to help thank you so much again.”

“I highly recommend Dr.Comeau and his staff and miss them all so much! The saying "you don't know what you've got until it's gone" i can seriously say is true! When we lived in NH, Queen City AH was our vet for many years, actually ever since Dr. Comeau took the business over from the original owner. Now in Florida and the vets here dont compare, not even close. We had a goofy but extremely loveable Blue Nose Pitbull named Bullet and I remember Dt. Comeau loved to see him and he would grab his big jaws saying how much he loved him, he cared for him successfully through heartworm which was a very scary treatment and because of Bully's compromised immune system took the time to research everything to make sure it worked to cure him, he also had to deal with Bullys skin condition due to allergies which we never really got a grip on because we ended up moving to Florida and these Vets here are a dime-a-dozen and severely inexperienced with lack of empathy it seems to me anyway for the animals they "try" to treat! About a month ago Bullet was brought into a Clinic here for what seemed like was possibly a respiratory infection but also had a distended abdomen as well a lot of swelling, he wasn't eating hardly and was a bit lethargic, which we related to the possible infection but that dog always took whatever life handed him with his tail still wagging constantly! ... I won't name because it would take away from this great facilities review, (although I'd like to as to save the next persons pet from them) after X-rays and bloodwork which ruled out Melenoma the almost 1yr experienced Vet said nothing alarming to see gave antibiotics and steroids and sent him on his way, he wasn't getting better after a few days and also was now throwing up clear foamy liquid and bile so we brought him back in after the 2nd day she got an opinion from her colleagues most with same little experience as her, now her diagnosis was "Bullet has cancer, but I don't know where it's coming from." and "he only has a few days to live" which was the ONLY thing she was right about sadly 4 weeks ago he lost the fight that he every time under Dr. Comeaus care was able to come out the Champion. He passed away suddenly at home on my bedroom floor let's say you can never prepare yourself for that! I know this is a lot of info for a review but the sad outcome, and hope that Dr. Comeau may read this review to inform him of Bullet passing away, I know how much he loved Bully and also for the review I know under Dr. Comeaus care would NEVER had happened as it did, and I just want to say thank you Dr. Comeau especially, and his Staff, for caring for Bully with so much professionalism and love and we will never find another like you believe me! Anyone reading this review if you could make it through the book that is lol, you have no worries when it comes to this Veterinarian Dr. Comeau is the BEST hands down! Thank you again for taking care of Bullet and Ruby we appreciate and miss you all!”

The staff also loves my dogs and one is a shelter dog with behavioral issues in public with other dogs and they made sure we got in and out without any issues. “Dr Fisher is knowledgeable and was very efficient with getting my dog's nail issue resolved. She and the tech were very patient and kind with my dog. The blood work panel was done quickly and efficiently. They also did a great job trimming my dogs nails. A good first visit experience.”

“My big boy saw Dr. Steve yesterday for his final visit and crossed the rainbow bridge. As challenging and difficult of a decision it was to make, Dr. Steve was compassionate and kind. He confirmed my suspicion that something was wrong with my boy and with his age, the ending was all the same. He was a good boy, such a good boy and didn’t deserve to suffer. He was uncomfortable and stopped eating that day. I got in the same day I called and from the moment I called to the second I walked out of the office, everyone was so kind. No judgment, no guilt trip, just compassion. I needed that and I needed kindness. They gave me and my big boy both. Thank you. Thank you for being there when we needed you.”

“This is my primary Vet for my cat. They handle him with care, and there are never long wait times once I arrive. When I took my cat to an overnight emergency vet, VCA was able to give him a follow up appointment on the exact day I needed for a check up. I recommend VCA for primary veterinarian needs. Their app works perfectly, I receive check up reminders and follow up phone calls after my cat's visits. During COVID when we had to wait outside in our cars during the appointment, I knew my cat was in good hands inside. Everyone is always very pleasant to deal with.”

Also, vet care is just expensive. The exam rooms and waiting area are very clean, and dog and cat waiting areas are separate.”

“Over the past 60 years, and many cats and dogs, D. W. Animal Hospital has been our go to vets. Terrific, caring vets and so very kind technicians. Today really showcased them. We brought our 2 kittens in for their first exam. Both are extremely traumatized and scared. Becca, the tech, was incredible. She actually got them calmed down enough to be examined and nails clipped. Our vet,, Dr. Sullivan, was so caring and kind, knowing how scared they were. A VERY positive visit!”

“In 20 years this is the first veterinarian I have found that is into this line of work because they love animals. Family owned and ran and its a relief when you find a provider whose main goal isn't only money. Every other vet charges for every little thing and makes you bring your animal in every issue to charge the visit fee even if they are acurrent active patient just doing the most to make money. I brought 2 animals in one time and was shocked when i was only charged one office visit charge. Previously everytime i was charged for each animal regardless of one appointment time and slot. Thats just one example. Then to be quoted double to 3 times the amount from every other vet for anything I've asked for quotes for is ridiculous to me. Vets and dentists are not regulated by medicare like health insurance and it should be because most these vets are doing way to much and lost focus of why they went into that field in the first place.What a relief and hats off to Smileys for having morals, being fair and doing good business. Thankyou to them because animals find me and it can be expensive to take them in and they make it possible. They came highly recommended and i am greatful to have found them. I would never take my animals anywhere else now.period!”

“Orchard Village has been a godsend for us. As someone who has pets who have health issues that require them to be seen fairly regularly, the staff there are always so kind and caring. I highly recommend Banfield if you have a pet and check out their pet insurance options online also , I'm glad I did for a almost $600 dollar well puppy check up I paid under $200 for whole visit with Pedi trim also”
