First Seacoast Bank is headquartered in Dover, New Hampshire and has served residents of New Hampshire's Seacoast and Southern Maine since 1890. Opened under the name of Dover Co-Operative Savings Fund and Loan Association, its original meeting was held at the Cocheco Hose Company on First Street in Dover. Opening an account should be convenient and easy. It wasn't. They gave me the run around asking for a lease, which I provided. Then they wanted it notarized, which I provided. Then they wanted me in there in person. Citizens was a 10-minute process and no headache.

The entire Barrington team is awesome! Helpful, friendly, and courteous. I've never had a bank that treats me so well nor want to review them. I have my personals and my small business accounts with them now and plan on being a customer for life.

Had an account with the bank and they would not cash a payroll check. What selfish people ruining people's lifes. I work 3 jobs and my money is no good there.
