Bart's Deli and General Store is a quaint and cute store offering a surprising variety of goods, from snacks and gifts to practical items like braided rope. It is considered a staple and the perfect pitstop for those visiting the area to ski, hike, or drive through. The business features a deli serving breakfast and hot sandwiches, with notable items including a fantastic hot tomato mozzarella sandwich, very good chicken salad sandwiches, and steak and cheese sandwiches described as the main event and great comfort food. Their homemade potato chips are frequently praised as out of this world. Service experiences are mixed. Many reviews mention a really nice and quick guy at the grill. The women at the cash register are often described as lovely, friendly, and smiling. However, multiple customers report consistently negative interactions with a woman working in the deli area, characterizing her as grumpy, unfriendly, downright rude, and not suited for working with people. This contrast in service impacts overall customer satisfaction. Despite this, the owners are noted as great to talk to, and the store remains a fun destination with a few vegetarian options, though the lighting could be brighter.
Breakfast sandwiches were delicious, quick, and a good price

Stopped in on a whim and it ended up being a great call. Really solid breakfast sandwich for under ten dollars and a strong cup of coffee that actually does the job. The owner was running the whole place solo and still moved fast and put together a great sandwich.

Yes, the woman there is nasty. She must be the owner. Otherwise her attitude would not be tolerated. Other than that it's great. Love their prime rib.
