I had an AMAZING set of nails done by Cindy about 2 weeks ago. When she did my nails, I explained that I had experienced several instances of breakage and cracking with my last several sets and that I was tough on them at work. She took great care to build a beautiful APEX, (yes, some of us know what that is and why its important,) shape them for strength, and file/smooth each one until there was a flawlessly even surface. They looked amazing and for the FIRST time since getting my nails done at the Bedford Glossy nails, I made it a whole 2 weeks with zero chips/cracks. I was so happy with them and I so appreciated the time she spent making them perfect.Today I walk in and Cindy was busy. No problem, I thought. Since she had been so receptive when I voiced my concerns and needs to her without having done my nails before, I thought maybe this would be the case with another tech. So I sat down showed this new tech my nails so she could see their shape and happily explained that I wanted them done the same way because they had held up so well. WELL...let me tell you!!!!! This nail tech snapped back, "We all do them the same," as she took to my top coat. I replied back with, "No these were different, I always always have breakage and these ones didn't break at all! They were amazing!" She never even bothered to look at them, before she started removing them, to see what might have been different so she could try to do the same. She asked who did them, and I pointed to her co-worker on her right. She snapped, "You want to wait for her?" I declined, as Cindy was just starting a set and mine were half off at this point. This nail tech finished my nails in RECORD TIME. No apex, in fact most of them are flat. No thickness or shaping for strength. They'll break, I'm certain. They don't look amazing now so they surely won't still look amazing in 2 weeks. They're mediocre at best and thats if someone doesn't know what to look for as far as a quality. My nails were done in about half the time as the customer next to me and while I can appreciate efficient work, her work was rough, rushed, and extremely sub par. I'm a faithful customer, so is my daughter, as well as other family members and I walked out of there today so disappointed that I'm writing a Google review on a Friday night.I don't know anyone who wants to spend $55 on a set of nails that have been rushed through and lack the basic structure necessary to last two weeks, nevermind sit there and be snapped at while their hands are being manhandled. That was awful.Again, I couldn't recommend Cindy enough! She's so kind, receptive to the concerns and needs of her clients, and does AMAZING WORK! I wish the kind of service she provides was more consistent amongst her co-workers.

I’ve been coming here for at least five years and they used to be wonderful. They were always kind and consistently did a great job. Over the last year I’ve noticed a lot of turnover as far as nail techs, and overall atmosphere. My last trip was miserable, and I will not return as a result. I bring my 6 year old with me sometimes and the looks you get when the tech gets “stuck” with a child is unreal. She accidentally bumped her nail after it was painted, and you would not believe the way they treated us.I have my nails done every two weeks, and it will be incredibly inconvenient for me to avoid this place but absolutely worth it.I spent $200 that day to be made to feel like garbage because my little kid hit her nail. No thank you.

I decided to try Glossy Nails before I went on vacation… and let me say…. this is by far the worst nails I have ever had in my entire life. I got them done 3 days ago and this is what they look like right now. I made an appointment and everything was timely and they were super nice, but with this final product, it’s definitely not worth going back.My toes actually looked great when I left.. but in 3 days the nail polish already has been coming off. My nails have looked like this the whole time.UPDATE: 2 nails fell off. in 7 DAYS! One broke off from grabbing a plate and the other one while I was in the shower. this was a FRESH SET! I will not be coming back here.

Cathy has been doing my nails for quite some time now. I am always extremely happy with how they come out! She is very thorough and particular about how they look. I have been to other salons that are minutes away from my home, but I’m always disappointed.Cathy will always have me as a customer!Service: Dip powder

I’ve always loved Glossy nails. I’ve managed to look past the rushed streamlined environment, because the nail techs have always so talented. My nails always come out thin and beautiful. Unfortunately, this might have been my last time.I had the nail tech add tips and do a black tip with the dip, $65 + $15 tip. Today I went back to see if she could just file them down a little. The tech I had last night wasn’t working so another tech asked me to have a seat. When she was done she changed me $5. I couldn’t understand why she would change me considering I was just in the night before. My nails are gorgeous, but they really should not be charging extra for a two min fix.

If i could give zero stars I would. I used to love this place. I went this past weekend for a removal of dip and then a new dip manicure. I have absolutely no issue with people working anywhere speaking whatever language they prefer/ feel more comfortable with. What I do have an issue with, is the two manicurists looking at me, and my sister I was with, saying something to each other and then laughing looking back at us repeatedly. I also paid with my card because I didn’t have any cash on me, and tipped on my card as well. I understand as a service worker that cash is more preferable, but the woman at the front desk told me to not tip on my card next time I come. I could never imagine telling a paying customer how to tip. If the issue is the service they’re using taking a percentage of each transaction - I would’ve tipped more to accommodate. But the way I was spoken to and treated there has made it so I will not be going back, and have lost respect for a business I had previously appreciated.

Go see Julie! I cannot recommend her enough. She did my nails AND toes in the time that other people got their nails done. THE WORST SERVICE EVER. They have no shame and will talk badly about you right in front of your face. Never go here unless you want your nail tech giving you the worst attitude the whole time. Techs who did the pedicure are always a pleasure.

I called them beforehand asking if they could do designs on nails, and they said they would definitely find someone to do it. When I went in with my design choice (for only one finger and it was very simple), they looked at me like I was crazy. They spoke rudely to me in front of many people over this. They did match me with one nail tech who was very nice, but the greeting was not friendly and their instructions for choosing colors was not clear. They had a small basket with the dip colors, but I didn't realize since it was messily put to the side and the girl at the front vaguely pointed me in the direction of the colors. The lead nail tech asked me rudely what I wanted when I sat down which led to the whole design conversation. They also asked me to come 30 minutes early, and I ended up waiting 45 minutes to finally even get the nail polish remover applied. I don't usually leave reviews, but nails are expensive and a salon should be more welcoming and treat their customers with more respect. I only gave two stars because the woman that finally did my nails was actually respectful and kind. I recommend going to the Glossy Nails in Manchester if you're looking for a warmer atmosphere.

I had to leave 2 minutes into my pedicure yesterday for a family emergency. The lady had just started clipping my big toe. They had me pay the $58 which is fine as I left in a hurry. They told me I could come back and get my pedicure finished. Wasn’t able to come back yesterday or today due to the family emergency. I asked if I could get the money on a gift card to come back another time, they said no, had to be completed yesterday or today. Glossy nails, you just lost a long time customer and I’ll make sure everyone else knows not to go here because they clearly don’t care about their customers!

Never will I go here again. The woman who did my nails was extremely rough, filed my nails down to nothing, I pulled my hand back and she responds with “ you’re okay now right , your not going to cry are you !?”She complained the entire time how she was freezing and starving because of them being “ too busy”. She pulled my arms way too many times to count . Felt like a factory in there. I go to get my nails done to relax, not to be bullied and full of anxiety.
