First time taking my truck here on a recommendation. Met the owner, Dave. He was to check my tires for any leaks and to diagnose which sensors were bad. I knew that was the issue. He also suctioned out some oil as the last oil change I had at another shop had overfilled it. Literally took less than 5 minutes to do the "work". He told me I had two bad sensors in the front tires and it would be over $300 to fix it. I passed on replacing them and asked how much for the "work" that he did. He charged me $65 for a half hour of labor!!! Since I was a first time customer and he literally was just suctioning a little oil out and diagnosing an issue that we both knew was the problem, I feel like anything over $25 was highway robbery. I took time off from work to make it for an 8:30 am appointment, and he talked to me for about 45 minutes, less 5 minutes for the actual "work" that was performed. I just feel that charging $130 per hour for labor is extreme and if he wants repeat business, charge a fair price for the work that is actually done. I will not be returning. He is nice and I can't speak for the work as he didn't really do any repair work to my truck but I think his pricing is very high and unfair.

This was our first time, for our inspection, and we will certainly use this business again for our future auto maintenance. Dave promptly returned my call , scheduling us for the very next day. He's very friendly, courteous, priced much lower than the dealership and maintains a clean shop which is important to my husband!! We highly recommend this business.

I turned to Ultra Auto after a dealership told me that I would need my entire transmission replaced ($3,700)! Dave was helpful, informative, and quick with his work. In less than 24 hours, he concluded that the transmission was a much easier and cheaper fix. Ultra Auto is a life and wallet-saver, and a fantastic, reliable, safe choice for women.

This place is great! The dealership wanted us to replace the entire transmission ($3700!). But Dave was able to find another solution quickly and inexpensively. Forever grateful to find a mechanic we can trust.

Great experience with Ultra! Not only did they replace our busted oil hose quickly, but while they were at it they fixed whatever it was that was causing an annoying rattle noise for ages! Guessing it was a bent heat shield or something, but they didn't mention fixing it or charge for it, and we noticed right away that the rattle was gone!! This is the second time we have brought our van to them for "breakdown" situations and both times we were super satisfied and will definitely go back.

My car (1995 Volvo 850) died on the highway and I had to have it towed to ULTRA. I was unsure if it was the alternator or the battery, though I was quite sure it was one of them. It turned out that it was neither but it was the wire connecting the two. The connection to the alternator had extensive corrosion and with a little work all was well. He could have pushed a new alternator on me and racked up the hours but he didn't. Instead he tested the alternator's strength and told me that it was operating at roughly 80% capacity. He said that with that particular alternator I could expect at least a few more years out of it, if not 10 or more. A one man show but he seems to an honest guy and he'll tell you what the problem is in a straight forward manner. To me, this is an extremely desirable trait in a mechanic. And even though is hourly rate is just under 100 dollars per hour, I will be returning because I felt the service was fair.
