Unfortunately this place is going down hill fast, previous owner kept up with the greens and the property. Used to love hiking the old ski trails but the current owner is always in a backhoe tearing the mountain apart and I don't feel safe being on the property wether it be hiking or playing a few rounds of disc golf. The few encounters I have had with the owner he appears to be either on drugs or drunk or both. He can't be trusted, especially when he is on his side by side or backhoe. It's a real shame that this once beautiful property is getting run into the ground.

Hoping they will install tow for tubing and fix up since other spots are getting too busy for locals

This place is awesome for backcountry skiing! They try to groom the trails after most snowstorms. Still a backcountry experience with some natural obstacles and some ungroomed terrain. No tickets — all they ask is that you donate $10 to help defray grooming and trail maintenance expenses. They also have disc golf and hiking/biking trails in the summer. It’s a great resource in the Lakes Region!

I play disk golf a few days a month here, amazing course! Pro shop and snack bar seem to be closed since COVID. Still maintained decently and improvements being made continually. Self service pay station with slot for money under sign in sheet. ticks can be very bad depending on year.

I honestly can't believe they charge for the disc golf course here, especially 8 bucks a person. It looks like they do zero maintenance on it.

I was there just to get away and have some much needed alone time. I was approached by a truck than a man got out. Asked if things and if I was ok. Found out he's part owner or mgr of Moose Mountain recreational facilities. We talked a bit he knew I wasn't ok being I was in tears. He asked if he could pray with me. Little did he know by what he did he literally saved my life that day. I was very lucky he did what he did. It's something I will forever be grateful for.

Our first time visiting moose mountain, we were here In the winter just to hike and for the view, it is beautiful here. A quick walk to the top of the hill and we could even see Mt. Washington! Can't wait too see what they offer the rest of the year!

My first experience with "The Moose" started as a teenager when the property was newly defunct as a ski area. We would hike up and snowboard down. In 2020 I visited again after all those years and it did not disappoint. My daughter and I played a round of disc golf and it was awesome. Last Spring I played a round with some old friends and what a blast it was! To date my only eagle I've scored in 1 1/2 years of disc golf occurred on hole 18. Everyone should come and "Shoot the Moose" if they get the chance. I look forward to my next round here!

Incredibly fun 18 holes. Beautiful location, and LOTS of aces over the years. See if you can get one of your own!
