“There is more than meets the eye at this charming country store. Lots of free parking out front. They have a wide variety of freshly prepared foods including baked goods, sandwiches etc. Coolers offer ice cream and beverages and seating is provided. Clean restroom available. Local arts displays on the walls make this a true community center. The staff is friendly and helpful and they offer some weekly specials ( check their website for example, Pizza nights.)”

“The best small town grocery. Been going for years. Helpful, friendly people. Clean store. I think they do a great job with limited space. I have difficulty walking so, the size is just right.”

“Awesome selection of beer, snacks, drinks, etc. Good meat selection and the quality is better than the larger grocery stores. One of our favorite places to order pizza from as well. Happy to have them just down the road!”

“The staff is always welcoming, helpful, and full of information. I never leave with less than 4 bottles and a list for 'next time to buy' flavors. HUGE selection in a compact location. They have tastings and encourage a reduced carbon footprint by having discounted refills of their bottles!! Last but not least, they are super responsive on their FB messenger so it's never a wasted trip!!”

“If you are looking for a shopping adventure and don't normally shop here, then this is the place to try. They have a huge variety of different foods that you normally would get at the standard grocery store. They have alot of different foods from various country's. They have a good bakery, deli and even hot food far. My favorite is the crab rangoons!”

“The absolute best, most reliable dollar store around, with very well organized shelves. Also well-organized and better stocked than other value stores in the area. Also tend to be open late, which is great if you're getting in late from a flight.”

“Similar setup to the Market Basket in Bedford. The produce section has windows that open up the area and adds a little dimension to the area. This MB has a bakery, Kitchen, Cafe, Sushi ? and the best dining area I have seen in any MB!If I can find trails that my kids can handle in the area, I'm bringing them here for pizza ?!Friendly service. Cigarettes have their own section with two registers. 12 & 20 item registers available.Parking ?️ lot wasn't crazy like Seabrook or (Daniel Webster Highway) Nashua. Plenty of carriage return stalls.I recommend this Market Basket !Update: November, 2023; I bought my kids and friend here for pizza and ? ice-cream. Everyone likes this MB and my friend, she said that this one of the better MB's.WiFi available. Maps says that they have car side pick up.”

“I love this store, it is clean, nothing blocking aisles unless they are stocking it. Cashier is always smiling, and makes conversation with everyone. Prices are great, sales even better!I went yesterday and returning today, only because I didn’t get sale prices the one that says (4 days only.)I will continue this post, when I see how that goes....”

“I love it at Village Store because they have very rare items that no one else carries. Like diet coke...chips. and even gum! I was floored by the huge selection of cigarettes. Like 5 brands! You won't find that just anywhere!”

“First visit end of April 2024. Store was fully stocked. Some items are not stocked at this location versus other locations, which is normal. Clean store. Fast checkout. Employees were friendly to us.”

“It's an older supermarket but the prices are generally lower than other local grocers. Just watch the veggies and milk as they tend not to last as long as other grocers. I suppose that's the price for lower prices.”

“The 5 stars is for the cashier Tamara who literally gave me a dollar out of her own pocket instead of have me make change for mine. She was so kind and Hannaford should be grateful to have a person like her working for them.”

“Went there on a mission 6/5 to find imported feta! If anyone knows Feta isn’t the same unless it’s imported. You just cannot buy any feta and think making a Greek dish will taste right that is just incorrect and wrong! It’s all about the correct brine and feta! When I told him what I was looking for he went out back grabbed his big tin and brought it out and had me try it first to make sure it was exactly what I was looking for before I made the purchase. You all it was PERFECT! I am so happy that I have something so close to home that has what I am looking for when I am in need. Price is reasonable and not to mention they have fresh philo as well.Thank You South St you will now forever have my business.”

“I just love Market Basket. Always clean and well stocked. Can always find just about anything I need. Including staff! There is always staff around to help you and you don't have to go searching for someone to help you, seems like there is always someone working close by. Which I find to be a great plus. Good sales and variety.”

“I went in today. Irene was there and she could see I needed help. She helped and was kind. When I was ringing out a fake item wasn't coming up. Irene once again came to the rescue. She pushed the sale through knowing I was in a rush. She had an awesome smile on here face. Amazing customer service.Thank you IreneFrom the Big bearded Guy”

“Decent prices usually, but sometimes local stations will have lower prices. For BJ's Club members only. A BJ's Club card must be scanned before the payment method. Some locations don't accept cash. Suggest calling ahead to verify if paying in cash. Many drivers wait for pumps that corresponds with the side of their vehicle's fuel port when all pumps have hoses long enough to reach the fuel port located on the far side.”

“My kids and I love the food at the little place inside the beanstalk. The pizza is really good and the slices are big and the prices are fair. We've also tried the jalapeño poppers and chicken fingers. There's also a little coffee bar inside and table and chairs to sit and eat. There are also bathrooms to use . All the employees I've met are always friendly .”

“I shop at Wal-Mart once maybe twice a month. There have been times that I needed assistance and had a hard time finding an associate but most of the time have not had a problem. I do not purchase meats there but staples are fine and purchased frequently. I like Concord Wal-Mart.”

“Its nice to have dollar general in the neighborhood. Now if I need basic household stuff I can just take a quick trip down the road instead of going all the way into town. Saves tons of time.”

“Extremely clean and well stocked! They had everything we were looking for to camp, including rubber bands (which I assumed I would have to go to a different place to buy).”

“This is a rather nice Walmart. It has friendly workers, clean bathrooms, and good selections. I usually get a salad kit and a pint of ice cream while here and both are always good. There's a Market Basket next door but this Walmart is superior to any grocery store in the area in my opinion..”

“The quality of produce and stocked shelves makes it worth the trip. Customers are also more courteous than at Market Basket on Fort Eddy Rd. because at Hannaford, most wear masks, keep distance, and follow directions. MB atmosphere is less welcoming and less safe. Also, the pharmacy is excellent. Great people like Indigo.”

“These guys here are life savers.I had purchased tires last month from another BJ's and on my way up north I had an unexpected flat. After a kind man put air in my tire he told me to have it fixed asap. After no one could help me I called Michelin customer service had me visit 5 different stores in Laconia that are supposed to honor their products. Well after going to all those places and been denied service, I finally came to BJ's in Tilton and received an amazing service. Even when the tire I needed wasn't available, they made sure I can get to my destination and back safely. The next day tire was changed and service Michelin talked about was honored. These guys are amazing and I would always give them my service.Thank you from a life long BJ's Member.Special thanks to Ron. I can't thank you and your team enough.”

“Ernie (an employee usually at the entrance checking receipts) is one of the kindest people I have met. He always asks my children and I how we are and has a kind smile. A true gentleman! I love the bakery selection. The value is excellent for quality products. We shop here for our 4H club needs, as well as personal. We have been loyal customers for years, but Ernie is the reason I took the time to write a review.”

“This is my local DG, so i'm in here quite a bit, definitely a couple times a week, for the last 2/3 years. The staff is always friendly, & I have plenty of nice lil chats with them. Just last night the man at the register was very kind, I'll have to get his name next time I see him. I see Jess the most, with her elf ears, & she has honestly become such a staple to me. It would be weird to visit this location & not see her! The store itself is pretty kept in order, especially compared to other DG locations that I have visited. You're not trying to make your way around several carts, or stacked boxes of product, the shelves are always organized, & when there is a cart to be put away, there is always a staff member working on it. Definitely my preffered DG location!”

“Not a big fan of " pay-to-shop" type of stores. But we're giving BJ's a try. One thing is that alot of the food products are in such a large amount that it is hard to store the items at home. Sometimes the cheese is so big it won't fit in the refrigerator, and you have to make sure you can consume that amount or it goes bad. The other products like clothing and electronics seem to be on point with other stores prices, so no big savings there. Overall not that cheap and in some cases it is more expensive than regular stores...........”
