Claremont Savings Bank is a great way to bank: They reverse non CSB ATM fees, so you can use any ATM, at no charge. You can bank online with their online banking and mobile app, both are user friendly. The employees are always helpful. They give back to the community. The lobby is always stocked with complimentary coffee, tea, computer, internet, and printer access for customers. CSB is the way to go!

I've done business with banks in many countries. This bank is THE WORST! Negligible interest rates (Go online and see what other banks are offering. My other bank is giving 4.5%!). Very poor service from all but 2 or 3 tellers. Cumbersome website and app. Yesterday I dealt with the most arrogant and unprofessional manager I've ever encountered in a customer service business. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for a good bank. I'm currently moving my money to one.

Set up a Construction To Conventional Loan with Claremont and they have been really great to deal with. A special thankyou to Brianna from Claremont as our loan Originator she has been a pleasure to deal with as is always very attentive and responsive to any and all aspects of the process. Would definitely recommend this bank to someone in the market for a loan.

Brianna at CSB was amazing and helped up through each step to buying our new home. When hiccups came up she was the first to communicate and provide steps to overcome each obstacle. My experience with Brianna and CSB was amazing and I would highly recommend her and CSB for your mortgage needs!

I recently opened an account at the Charlestown branch of CSB because my old bank was going to hold a deposited cashiers check for 10 days. CSB not only let me open an account with said check, but made the entire amount available immediately! Thank you!!!I also had the good fortune to have Miss Julie Garfield open my account for me. Julie was so friendly and knowledgeable that I actually said "this has been the best banking experience of my life!" Truly words I'd never thought I would ever say. Julie is a great asset to CSB and I look forward to visiting again.

I love banking here. There aren't many fees, people almost always remember who i am, everyone is always friendly (I don't really expect that out of anyone working, jobs are life-draining so to me a friendly attitude is just a bonus). During covid they got rid of some of their fees and then kept those policies in place even now and I'm really thankful I have a bank that prioritizes keeping fees low or non-existent when possible. I hope as they continue to expand that they keep that same mindset! 5/5.

I discussed obtaining a Construction loan from Claremont beginning in January of 2022. My first question was whether or not they provided loans for the town in Vermont where I am building. They answered that they did, in fact, provide loans for construction in my town.I would need the money around the summer, so they told me to come back closer to when the funds would be required. I reached back out in April, started my application, sent over all of my financial information, as well as a full vendor list with all quotes / receipts.One week into the process I was informed that they do not, in fact, cover my town, and they would not issue me a loan. No recommendation was made as to who might be able to help, nor was any apology issued. This is all I got:"Although we do lend in Vermont, a further conversation with a Senior Underwriting Officer has confirmed that XXXXXXX, VT it is out of our lending area."Now I am scrambling to find a lender, after some banks have paused issuing Construction Loans after the Spring rush.Word to the wise, DO NOT trust what Claremont Bank tells you.UPDATE:The loan agent & her manager are now sending me emails and arguing with me. Please put customers first, and tell them to leave me alone.

I am writing this review to say that Samantha in Customer Service was extremely helpful with the opening of a savings/checking account for my partner a few weeks ago. Samantha was very knowledgeable and answered all questions that were asked making it an exceptionally easy and pleasant experience. She showed him how to utilize his debit card at the ATM and walked him through it step by step. I would definitely recommend asking for her help at Claremont Savings Bank, especially if you are new to using a debit card at an ATM, which he was.

My friend is a first responder. This place denied him a loan. Absolutely disrespectful!!! I have no respect for this local financial institution. Anyone who disrespects first responders is absolutely low in my book. I am writing this review to make sure people are aware before doing business with this bank. I hope the managers of Claremont savings bank call someone else other than a first responder if they get into a car accident!!! FYI my friend has a credit score of roughly 700. All because of a late payment from over 5 years ago. If you love a financial institution that disrespects first responders join Claremont savings bank!!!!!

Have used Claremont Savings Bank since moving from Texas in the late 80's. Love the fantastic customer service I always receive. I've never had a bad experience. I love watching how they continue to grow.

I have been a customer of this bank since 2000. That speaks for itself. Their customer service has been helpful, their tellers are personable and always ask about my grandsons - always a winner - and have answered numerous questions patiently.

I have been with this bank since the late 80's. Lots of changes since then.. But the one thing that never changes is the way the staff is knowledgeable, friendly and always there for me as I need. Whether on the phone, in person or online, if they need to research something, I am never forgotten. Return phone calls and follow- up e-mails as needed. Thanks CSB for being here.
