We've been using this CVS for years now. Unfortunately our insurance won't cover the same medicines at Rite-Aid on Pleasant St. We absolutely hate the CVS pharmacy. Most everybody in town does. They close when they want, open when they want. Never trust the posted hours, CALL THEM. Don't trust the texting system! I cannot tell you how many times I've gotten the text message from CVS Pharmacy saying "your prescription is ready to be picked up" and when I get there to pick it up it, it is in fact NOT READY! "It'll be about an hour sir", even then I've had multiple times I've come back and it's still not ready... I'm not making this stuff up. They really are the most unreliable and unorganized pharmacy I've ever dealt with. There are only 2 pharmacy's in town and unfortunately a lot of citizens are in the same boat with blue cross blue shield and the inability to utilize the other pharmacy in town. I have been able to use "Rite-Aid" on occasion and they seem to have a few quirks of their own (I've only witnessed these quirks standing in line or waiting for something to be filled, I've personally never had any hiccups with them), but I've never had issues anywhere close to what I've dealt with at 1 Wall St. CVS in Claremont. This review is the pharmacy and pharmacy staff only, the retail store is well stocked and typically helpful staff. GOODLUCK!

Why does it it take 5 to 6 days to refill a prescription at CVS? I requested a refill morning of November 8- Notified it was ready November 14. It is like this EVERY single time I have something refilled. It's ridiculous. I never had to wait this long when I used Walmart pharmacy. Was usually ready the same day or next at most. The employees here are very nice, but it should never take this long to refill a medication. If my insurance did not require me to use CVS, I definitely would not!

I have been on hold for 2 hours today and an hour and a half just to ask if my script is filled. I will just transfer to a different pharmacy that answers their phones

Do NOT get your prescriptions here! It is the most unreliable pharmacy. If you want your prescriptions filled on time and do not want to make 5 trips into town to get them, pick a different pharmacy. This place is an absolutely disaster and I often overhear other people in line say they're switching pharmacies because this one sucks! I should've gotten the hint sooner!

I had a medical prescription sent to CVS in Claremont, NH. The store received the prescription on 9/27. On the morning of 9/29 at about 9:00 am I went to pick it up. I was told "it's being filled now and will be ready in one to two hours." I came back at 1:30 pm and was intercepted by a store clerk on my way to the the back of the store. "The pharmacy is at lunch until 2:00 pm." I came back at 2:00 pm and was told the prescription "is being filled now and will be ready in one to two hours." I explained this was my third trip and asked if CVS could call me when it was ready. I was told "no we're too short handed to make calls." I returned at 7:30 pm and was told that my prescription "was being filled now." Would you like to come back in the morning?" I explained to the very nice clerk that this was my fourth trip and was told the same status three times. She spoke to the pharmacist and filled the prescription while I waited. I took the prescription home and read the directions to take one tablet every eight hours. I opened the box and found an ointment. This is about the worst customer service I've every received and after five trips I asked for a refund. I'll take my business somewhere else.

The drive thru has the worst customer service lady, her name is Brittney, she told me to come back at 11:30 and my scripts would be ready...I said no problem I have a baby with me and we'll kill some time. We came back at 11:45 and was told sorry we have 2 others filled but not yours....you can come back or come in and wait but we don't know how long it will be...really snotty. I said I can't keep driving around with him and she shouldn't be promising people times...she said she has to take care of everyone who comes in first and that pushed my scripts back further. I said I wasn't leaving so I was told to sit in the 2nd pick up lane...they were very able to get them done at that point....so apparently if you want scripts filled you should stay and wait or they don't get done as promised....and her attitude was unacceptable. More times than I can count I've left and come back because I was asked nicely and was understanding but at some point people get sick of being pushed to the back!

Definitely take the time to go to West Leb. Much more helpful employees and they take down all the sale information a day ahead making shopping difficult and confusing
