A hidden gem for anyone who sews or does crafts. The biggest problem is where to look first, I overheard the owner telling another customer that his stock is actually low in some areas because there is a back log on some items, you would have not guess that walking through the store. Prices are quite reasonable, I enjoyed a nice chat with the owner and definitely will be going back.

What a treasure chest this place is!!! Not only are you likely to find what you are looking for, but you will also run across seriously darling, vintage, hard to find items you just have to have. Owner is always 100% cordial, knowledgeable, sweet, professional. I could spend a solid week in here and never tire of the scenery!

Take 100 old ladies' attics and basements, clean out all the crafts supplies, and roughly organize them by type in a maze-like warehouse. That's Frank's Bargain Center, a place where 50 year old jeans patches meet fake flowers sized from a pinky nail to a fist. Zippers in every color and size, bins full of every kind of button, tassels and ribbons to spare, fabric left-overs from several decades, and sewing patterns to dress your kids in the latest 1995 fashions. I asked about quilt finishing and the guy at the front (presumably Frank) said that he didn't do them there, but proceeded to rattle off from memory a who's-who of Southern Vermont and New Hampshire quilt finishers, present and recently deceased. A sign in the window says they fix sewing machines, and if you're into sewing or quilting you'll probably find something you could use in a future project. But the delightful bizarreness of the selection itself is worth a look, even if you never choose to come back a second time.

It's a real benefit to have this store in our community, especially for those who sew lots and it's an extra bonus to have a store owner with decades of experience in the textile industry.

So I drove 2.5 hours to get here on a friend's recommendation. To tell you how it went - I spent 3 hours here! I came looking for scraps and smallish pieces of different fabric mediums and I found exactly what I wanted. Pricing is really great and perfect for what I needed. I was paying as low as $.20 a piece. Some of the fabrics are vintage so keep that in mind. They also have a bunch of wool if you need that - I didn't pay much attention to their bolts as I was looking for smaller. They have a large selection of quilting cotton by the yard so you can get larger cut lengths too. And a ton of buttons, zippers, trim, did I say zippers?, and lace. The gentleman who was behind the counter was friendly to every customer who came in and was engaging during checkout. And he counted everything in his head - don't see much of that anymore. Overall, I will make the trip back again as it was worth it. Not to mention, it was a great day for a drive..Happy crafting!

Really great store w/ a huge variety. It's a very tactile experience. If you feel like you need to be waited on the moment you walk in the door, it might not be for you.

Linens, cottons, upholstery fabric, oh my! The store is wonderful! 100% wool for $8-$9 a yard, and linen for $6 /yd at 60" widths. They have everything you need and things you didn't know you needed. For example, packages of precut yarn for pom-poms and foam for cushions! Customer service is great and they know their inventory. Not like other places that say "IF we have that it would be down isle x". I bought 3 yds of linen to make napkins for the holidays, a crochet hook, a baking pan for chocolates, lamb's wool to make a winter scarf, 2 Waverly napkin size swatches, about 3yds of heavyweight material to reupholster a foot rest and a holiday tchotchke all for $51!!

What a fun place to wander through. There are typical things like fabric, patterns, buttons, tools, supplies. There are wild and surprising fabrics, buttons, tools, supplies. It's like an amusement park for creative people.
