On February 18, 2025 my husband and l met with Deb Adams. Deb was extremely professional, courteous and very interested in helping us. She explained who she is and her experience. I had an incredible experience here with Deb Adam's. Anyone that used to see the Jackson Hewit set up at Walmart will recognize my tax pro. She worked with me got me my max refund and stayed late just to get me in to work with me and my schedule. I highly recommend anyone going to see her. You will not regret it

Very disappointed. I made a appointment on Friday for this Monday morning. I received my confirmation text for Monday at 900am. I waited and no one showed up at the Claremont office. It's now 5:56 pm and no one has returned my calls. Extremely bad customer service. Will never return.

I have been using this office for over 10 years and this is the first year I've questioned if it's worth it. It cost me over $1,100 to have my taxes prepared. Last year I had 10 pages of gains/losses, and this year 9 pages, the biggest difference was the increase of over $700 in filing fees. I do understand it's time consuming, but rates should not have increased by over $700 dollars. I will be looking at other options next year.

Paulette Allen our tax helper for h&r block has been our tax preparer for the past 4 years every year she remembers us in our situations and our employment she's enjoyable to be around she every year make sure that all questions are asked and that we leave there with no uncomfortable feelings or unanswered questions she gives us tips on what the next year could bring and how to be prepared or prepare ourselves for changes in our taxes she's a blessing as long as his work is like Paulette Allen you will always have customers coming back like us... This year, I booked an appointment with H&R Block after the mask "mandate" (request in actuality) had been lifted. Upon entry I was asked if I had a mask, had been vaccinated, and was told I was required to do this and that... Well I am a pretty self-aware and competent human being. I also am empathic towards others and their mentally frail state post-covid, so I understand everyone's over stimulated fear. But opinions and feelings on the matter are not law, they are merely (again) just feelings.The supervisor was very upset with me for explaining all medical questions are private. While I allowed her to vent, she was incredibly sarcastic, rude, and attempted to be condescending. She explained that the laws in Vermont were different, and then became infuriated when I explained that we were not in Vermont. Unfortunately a lot of people are being subjected to the "TV" pumping them full of misinformation and over stimulated ideas that aren't even fact based but are simply designed for a ratings boost. I was very calm in my encounter with her, but she continued on making numerous comments even over the other cubicles as my accountant and I sat there. I just couldn't believe this supervisor felt she could justify her bad and inappropriate behavior in the name of "doing the right thing"? Harrassing your customers with your political views is NOT in any way acceptable and never will be.After she simmered down, I completed my meeting, and said, "Have a great day" to her as I left. Nothing was said in return (of course). Behavior like this is a wonderful example of why America has become a third-world country full of lazy and incompetent individuals who make living here a liability for the next generation.
