Market Basket is a great place to shop with the best prices around, whether for a single person or a big family. Customers report getting really good sandwiches from the deli for a great price, though service speed there can vary. The store offers very good, fresh meats and produce. It is also noted for being very good for people with food allergies, as gluten-free and dairy-free items have their own dedicated section mixed in with the regular items, which makes shoppers feel included.
Many employees are very friendly and helpful, with cashiers and others who go out of their way to assist. Checkout is often fast. However, some feedback indicates that quality has fallen somewhat while prices have risen, and this particular store location seems to be out of a lot of items lately. While shoppers are typically able to get everything they are looking for, some baggers need to learn how to pack bags better to avoid damaging fruits and vegetables, and could be more personable. Overall, it is a very nice store that many recommend.
It's the only brand that I shop at, but I do shop at aldi, and trader Joe's for a few things
