As a fellow small business owner in Concord I think I’m probably more discerning than most when it comes to the level of customer service I receive when I take the time for self care. That said, I love EVERYTHING about Chrome. I have been seeing Dylan for a few years now and can’t speak highly enough of her as a human and a hair stylist. She always takes the time to really listen to what I want at each appointment - whether it’s chopping 8” off my length or adding the most gorgeous, subtle money pieces. She gives me the best hair cuts & color I’ve ever had. And the atmosphere at Chrome can’t be topped - the decor, the stylists, their skills & the high level of customer service are truly the best in the industry.

I love Chrome Salon! I’ve seen Dylan there for years. The atmosphere is cool and fun! The stylists are kind and knowledgeable. I always recommend Chrome and the stylists there.

Megan has given me two of the best haircuts I’ve ever gotten in my life. I’m a curly girl and finding someone to cut my hair who 1) knows what they’re doing and 2) doesn’t charge $150 a cut has been virtually impossible. Megan is an actual Godsend for me and I am thrilled to have found her. She is easy to talk to and she’s easy to be quiet with — a rare combination in the world of hair stylists as I’ve experienced it. I was very pleased with the first haircut she gave me, which was specifically to repair a bad haircut I’d gotten elsewhere. Today, she gave me a cut to touch up her previous cut and it’s even cuter than the last cut was!!! It’s a testament to her skills, I think, that she was able to make a bad cut look great and then she made a fresh cut look FABULOUS! She’s really wonderful. She deserves all 5 stars.
A review of the salon itself: Chrome Salon surprised me with its interior. I was expecting a very modern, gray, sterile salon because of the name (an interior design I wouldn’t actually love, personally, but the presumed aesthetic and my opinion of it took a backseat to finding someone who could cut curly hair in my budget). However, I was VERY pleasantly surprised to discover the ambience is exactly opposite of what I was expecting! (I know english teachers tell us to use only the words necessary and to not use superlatives unless they are *absolutely* necessary, so please understand that “VERY” in caps is not merely a superlative, but a necessary articulation of what is true. 🤓) Chrome Salon’s aesthetic is a unique and appealing combination of chic, eccentric, and cozy. There are plants everywhere — real living breathing plants — which makes for quite the lovely environment. The remaining decor only magnifies the whimsy and warmth that the plants bring to the ambience. I have never felt so “at home” and comfortable in a salon.
Lastly, the rest of the staff all come across as down-to-earth, personable people; there’s none of that salon haughtiness or snobbery that I’ve gotten accustomed to. This is probably the salon’s best feature, honestly.
I am afraid my review sounds a little too effusive, but you have to understand I have rather a bit of curly hair baggage after 40+ years of awful haircuts, awful salons, and awful people. I truly cannot rave about this place enough. It has been a very healing experience in my curly hair life. 🌈💛
If you’re a curly girl, ask for Megan!! She is GOOD at it.
And regardless of your hair texture, this salon is one of the best, so definitely check it out.

I came in looking to do a pretty good chop, knowing my hair was in desperate need of it. I have never loved short hair on myself, but knew it’d grow back, and again, beyond needed in my case. With Ryann’s guidance and expertise, we decided to do a clarifying and conditioning treatment on my hair, which left it unbelievably silky smooth, and then she began the haircut! She made the layers and bangs of my dreams a reality; which until this point, because of my thick, temperamental, curly hair, has been unattainable with any other stylist. She then diffused it and added some product for me, suggesting some that she used during the treatment for me too. She was absolutely amazing, so talented and kind, and I left with my hair feeling the healthiest it’s felt in years. My curls are forming better, and I found a new found love in short hair on myself.
Thank you Ryann, and thank you Chrome! I will absolutely be recommending to all! The entire space, and staff, were absolutely incredible. You truly feel relaxed as soon as you walk in. Can’t wait to return for my color!

Scheduled with Sondra twice. She cancelled twice only a few hours before my scheduled time. So unprofessional and inconsiderate. Don’t waste your time with this establishment.

Dylan is truly the best of the best with her craft. I consider her a true artist and fully trust her insight and recommendations. I have seen Dylan for balyage as well as a recent hair cut to help blend my extensions into my very fine hair. I wasn't sure it was possible but she made magic happen. Thank you Dylan, finding a hair artist like yourself is worth its weight in gold.

Great crew at Chrome that makes sure you are happy with your service. Fast, sweet, and worth every penny. Sondra and Shane did my and my wife's hair for our wedding and was beyond perfect. Buzz, cuts, colors and a cute puppy. How can you go wrong at Chrome.
