For starters, I waited in line for 15 minutes because they were clearly short staffed. When I finally got to the counter to get a roll of quarters I was asked by the manager if I had an account with them. I stated I did not and explained that I work up the street and I come in here often to get change. The manager was extremely rude and told me unless I had an account they could not give me a roll of quarters as they are for their customers only. Are you kidding me????? This is a bank, people go to banks to get money or change for that matter. I'm not cashing a million dollar check, I'm getting change! The professional thing would have been to grant my exchange and then nicely explain that in the future I would need to have an account not be extremely unprofessional. I will never do business with Citizens Bank nor will anyone I know or don't know yet. Unbelievable!!!

I have been a customer here for YEARS! My kids have their accounts here because this is great bank. Until this bast year. No drive through anymore, and all my favorite tellers are gone. Today it took almost a half an hour to deposit a check. I had to park and go in. Open the drive through, go back to being the great bank you used to be.

Went to get a few papers notarized this morning. I was pretty disappointed when I had to reschedule an appointment because she only signed one paper. I needed multiple pages that I gave to her signed. Very careless work.

if there was anything less than a star I would be happy to give it to them. I didn't have an account with citizens and went there only bcz my wife has an account there. So I wanted to start a joint account with her. The lady there had no idea over the past years that my wife is married lady and met me for first time. Anyway my wife asks for the bathroom and there's none, so she offered to walk to the employee's bathroom. So nice so far, we finish all papers, and my wife innocently tells me what that employee told her, "how long u been married ? Do u even trust him to start a joint account?" My wife replies "of course what are u saying he's my husband", lady "well I'm only trying to be a big sister here you know, but be careful about it." Point: I'm not white married to a not white too. I tried to roll the story in my mind a few days to find a nice/ok reason for the lady's questions and couldn't see anything besides she's racist because she kept talking about her latest trip to Louisiana and repeated several times that people there are not what they're known for (without saying that she meant they're not racist) as if she was trying to remind us several times like she herself is not one by repeating that she's not one. And we even had no reason to start this conversation that she started. Worst than that, I call and make a complaint, nothing happens, no one calls me. I call few days later and make an appointment to come down and close the recent open account, and they didn't even bother to ask why. 2 weeks later I receive a letter from their manager saying this a "federal regular process" 😂😂. And with the phone number to the manager's desk I call like 4 times, no one picks up, because I wanted to know how federal laws ask the employee to ask a client if she trusts her husband enough. Lmfao. I leave a voicemail telling the manager that their letter is no-sense and their excuse is even worse. End of story, point is: they're 0/5 and 0% customer care.
