“Many times over the years I have seen examples of when New Hampshire farm Bureau stepped in to help farmers. Well meaning legislators often try to create legislation that they think will help our industry. Sometimes they are not aware of its total impact on farmers. Farm Bureau is always keeping an eye out to stop or help fix bad legislation as well as to support good legislation. Most of us in the farming world are too busy to be keeping an eye on all of this stuff. I think that we often don't even know that farm bureau has saved us time and money. When 2% the population grow all the food for the other 98% many times programs that are extremely important to farmers, such as right to farm, current use and agritourism come under attack and Farm Bureau is there to protect them. Every type of agriculture, from beef to timber to Organic to fruit and vegetable growers to sheep and many others are representated by new hampshire farm bureau. Every farmer, every person in rural NH, and probably every person who eats should be a member of Farm Bureau.”

“The staff at the Y is very friendly and well-informed when I have a question. They create a positive experience! I mainly use the facility for swimming, and they offer many times throughout the day for laps. On-brand: the lifeguards are always welcoming and encouraging. The loss of a star is based on the capability of the building, as it is outdated. It feels like much of the spaces are shoe-horned into this old building. When comparing to other local Y’s, this one doesn’t have the same amenities. Much of this won’t be changed in the current facility, although I think they could add a sauna to the men’s room. I would like that.”
