I went there to get a thanksgiving basket and we where discriminated against because we had a autistic child with us that was having an episode. And they told us we can not be here and we had to leave. And yelled at us because we went back in for our turn and they told us we had to wait in line another hour to get the food we needed. We called to speak to a supervisor and pam answered and told us she got 2 autistic children but proceeded to hangup on us and ignored our thoughts.

Pam and the entire family team make the need for help for existence in dire circumstances with the utmost dignity absolutely no judgements ..just kindness which is a rarity today for these extremely stressful times for all of us . I'm also very grateful for those who donate food we cannot afford to buy or the clothes we need . Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart. It is hard to ask for help my whole life was helping others..it is humbling..thank you for taking the sting out of it .

The state of the building is depressing. It could benefit from some remodeling. However, the staff is friendly and generous. They help a lot of people, especially during the holidays.

The people that volunteer here are wonderful people! Very very helpful and kind, I honestly can not say enough kind things about ALL of the people that run Friends of Forgotten Children. I bring my donations here instead of Goodwill or the Salvation Army because I know that the things that get donated here will help someone who really just needs a hand that month. There are times we all need a helping hand, when times are hard. Friends of Forgotten Children doesn't just give you a helping hand. They give you and your child(ren) a smile and a heart of hope. With the food pantry to help out when needed, the clothing room for children and adults as well, and the extras like books, blankets, toys, games and sometimes you just don't know what they may have donated that might brighten your day.I often wish that I lived closer because I would be at Friends of Forgotten Children all the time to volunteer to say Thank you to Friends of Forgotten Children for all they have done for us and for ALL the people that they help.

Very helpful staff, a local food pantry and they also have a wonderful clothing room. It's set up like a small market and you can pick out the food you want, on your way out there is also a good selection of home, office, kitchen and other assorted items free for the taking.
