Hours: Irving Oil is a well-established company with a long history dating back to 1924. It operates Canada’s largest refinery in Saint John, New Brunswick, along with over 900 gas stations and a network of distribution terminals across Eastern Canada and New England. Additionally, Irving Oil runs Ireland’s only refinery in Whitegate and expanded its presence in Ireland in 2019 by acquiring Top Oil, a major supplier of home heating oil, petrol, and diesel. The company also established European offices in London and tankage facilities in Amsterdam. Customers appreciate Irving Oil for its affordable fuel prices, often cheaper than nearby competitors, and friendly service from staff who are familiar faces. Many users highlight the clean and well-maintained bathrooms, which are notably better than typical gas station facilities. The stores are small and may have limited selections, but the staff’s helpfulness and the quality of products like coffee and snacks stand out. Some reviews mention that the location attracts a diverse crowd and that the convenience store offers a good range of everyday items, making it a popular stop for regular customers seeking good deals and friendly service. Overall, Irving Oil is known for its affordability, cleanliness, and welcoming atmosphere.
