If your offerings are anything like your drivers, I fear for our elderly. Whoever drives a silver wagon needs to retake the driving test. Please be mindful on who is promoting your institution and be sure they can actually read traffic markings...

Some reviewers may be confusing Pleasant View Retirement with Pleasant View Nursing Home. Pleasant View Retirement offers independent living in a beautiful, gracious facility with an excellent, caring staff. Delicious dinners are served in the lovely dining room and a wide variety of activities are offered. My mother-in-law had a sweet apartment there that met her needs perfectly. Highly recommend!

Great place for my Mom to live independently. She feels safe and cared about by the staff no matter the need. She is treated with respect and is given the freedom to comfortably live, be social and age gracefully.

BEWARE! BEWARE! If you love your loved one and they suffer from Dementia with Behavioral issues this is not the place for them. They are not trained to provide care for this type of person. It has been an absolute nightmare to deal with these people from Director of Nursing to Social Work and don't try to contact the Administration in the place because you will not be able to talk to them. I have also filed many complaints with their corporate office (Genesis)and the state offices in NH which govern them and they seem to have the ability to be untouchable as they seem to have a hold over the head person at every office. Please be aware don't let your loved one suffer at the hands of these untrained people. UPDATE: I have replied to their response and have given them the complaint number filed with them that they have done nothing with. My loved one was abused and neglected at their hands and I would hope that this will serve as a message to all that the GENESIS system there is a reason why they are the only facilities that have openings. Please care for your loved one and find other accommodations when placing them for rehab or long term care.UPDATE: Surprise! Surprise! The administrator now calls me from the facility to discuss the investigation. I returned the phone call and left a message that I have filed the proper complaints with the state offices and the governor's office and that our conversation as far as I was concerned was done. Please protect your loved one don't let someone mistreat them file the proper complaints!

Pain management is not up to par. Puts only get cleaned up every couple weeks.laundry services have either lost patients clothes or take over a week to get them back. My friend staying the told me that one of the staff was shaking her unnecessarily. The food is dry and they changed my fries food from blended, which she was finally eating, back to regular, so she’s not eating again. They do not let her do the treatment plan she has for chemo or radiation. Staff is loud in the halls. I’ve heard them make promises that they can’t keep. Other than the entrance the place looks cheap.
