“I highly recommend visiting Yarn & Fiber Co.! Let me tell you about my experience:

I had a wonderful time visiting, and I was initially a little overwhelmed by the sheer amount of things going on in this fantastic store. It is chock-full, wall-to-ceiling, of beautifully organized fiber, beading supplies, tools, and materials, with excellent deals and bargains around every corner… literally!

Cindy and Doreen are both incredibly lovely and warm. Once I got myself together enough to chat with them despite my shyness, all of my uncertainty and overwhelm melted away. Their genuine interest, support, and kindness made me feel immediately welcome.

I mentioned that I had an older spinning wheel in the car and was looking for supplies to help fix it up, and they gave me helpful tips about where to find the materials and tools I needed to get started. I also told them about my various artisan craft hobbies—loom weaving, spinning yarn, quilting, and more—and they seemed genuinely excited about it all, which made me feel really good.

Cindy gave me an awesome tour of the store and her dye studio downstairs, which made me feel even more at home and, honestly, pretty special! I felt really included and welcomed with open arms. As a queer man who can sometimes feel a little nervous entering artisan and craft spaces that are often occupied by understandably serious and no-nonsense older ladies, I didn’t feel awkward or unwelcome here at all. Quite the opposite!

Cindy and her husband also gave me plenty of tips and tricks about dyeing my own textiles. I left feeling more knowledgeable, inspired, and confident, knowing that I have a place where I can find supplies, ask questions, and connect with people who genuinely enjoy these crafts.

Cindy even gave me a very generous amount of mulberry silk as a gift, which was truly so kind. I’m incredibly excited to work with this new fiber! She also let me know that I can get in contact with her through the site, and that she’ll text photos and answer questions I might have about materials or orders. That is such a relief to know. Ordering fiber or fabric can feel tedious and uncertain when you prefer to see and touch materials in person, but knowing I can trust Cindy makes that much easier.

I came a long way to visit Yarn & Fiber Co., and I left feeling grateful, flattered, inspired, and even more welcomed into the creative world of fiber and artisan crafts.

“Very helpful even though they were pretty packed inside the store with customers the owner helped me out with fixing some soldering and it was great cause it was on a race day and they definitely didn't have to do that let alone the owner great place great help great people if you live in NH or even New England this is an amazing place to go race and buy RC cars and parts I could go on and on but you gotta check it out for your self. go Hobby Etc!!!”

“They were very patient and helpful when I needed to swap a part on my traxxas bandit. Thought I needed to buy a separate part but it didn’t require any other purchases for him to swap a piece on my wheelie bar so it would fit. After a couple minutes in the back, the wheelie bar was installed and I wasn’t charged for the labor. Excellent service, fair prices and good selection.”

“Solid selection of comics, tons of magic cards and pokemon cards. Some dice are open to make your own sets as desired. Lots of board games and figures. Space to play magic tournaments. Plenty of parking most of the time.”

“Excellent professional and friendly Service. Bright a few coins for a clean out the prices were fair and never once did the gentleman make me feel like my questions were an annoyance or inconvenient. He explained which coins he was willing to buy and explained why and showed me his calculations. All in all it was an informative and comfortable exchange. Would highly recommend.”
