I was very unhappy after scheduling an appointment for 5:00 pm (as they're only available 5-8 pm during the week). I arrived 10 minutes early hoping to sneak in early as I was the first appointment of the day to see another couple having their taxes done. After waiting for 50 minutes I went to have mine done and explained that I had a 5:00 appointment and there was no apology. I was told me that they must have double booked the appointment. My tax preparer also didn't seem very confident with what I needed done. She was pleasant enough, just not sure if I'll go back again.

I had no issues with the preparation itself, Elsy was very efficient, however I found the price for a half hour tax prep very high. I won't be using them again.

I was given a quote on the price before we started. At the completion of the work when the forms were sent the price went up exponentially. I have being using this service (Jackson Hewitt)for many years and was given no discount. I was very disappointed with this years appointment.

Regret giving them a try completely. Our accountant seemed completely lost like she had no idea what she was doing and our return was awful due to the “child tax credit” however, this hasn’t been a problem for anyone else I’ve spoken to. Would not recommend and would never use again. Left feeling scammed.
