Amazing spot, the owner is fantastic and down to earth. She cares about her community and craft, she wants others to care too and you can tell. The time, energy, and love has gone a long way for her shop and products. Can’t wait to try a class and to make my own yarn eventually!

About 2 months ago, I had the pleasure to meet the owner of Yarn and fiber, I had never been in this shop before, getting all my crochet supplies at walmart or hobby lobby, until I couldnt find something I was searching for, so in I went,it was amazing everything a needle crafter would need, the owner Cindy was delightful and very helpful. She also informed me of lessons givin at the shop, cant wait to utilize this option. I purchased what I needed and made a lovely baby dress for my in laws daughters first baby, Im sorry I dont know how to post a pic, but she loved it so much. Thank You so much Cindy, keep up the amazing kindness.

When visiting away from home, I look for a LYS which stocks locally sourced yarn. I had a very happy, positive experience with Yarn & Fiber. So much to see, feel, and choose. Ivy Brambles brand came in many beautiful colors and weights. Sarah was wonderful. She pointed me to all kinds of yarn and I really enjoyed talking with her about knitting and creating. We had a few good laughs. I even stayed within my budget.

Yarn and Fiber is an excellent place to go for yarn in the southern NH area. They have a great selection of yarn that you won't find at a big box craft store. The staff are very experienced and are pleased to help you with any questions. Stop in and see for yourself.

Such a great shop! Took a quilt class here, and was so impressed - the store has everything you could need, the staff is awesome, and the atmosphere is so welcoming and laid back. Cyndi (spelling?) is so knowledgeable and beyond helpful, her husband is as well, and they really go above and beyond to help you. I can't recommend them enough, whether you are a beginner like me, or a pro!

I was hesitant to visit this shop as I love the store that I currently use. Yesterday was rainy, so I went into town and stopped by this shop because I need buttons for my sweater. I have to tell you I was blown away by the inventory here - not only by the buttons but the yarn! The lady at the counter greeted me and we started talking. As it turns out, they hand dye all of their own yarn. They get the wool from a farm they do business with in northern NH, clean it, dye it and sell it. I was shocked at the prices - you’d expect boutique pricing, but this is very reasonable, the same I pay at my shop. They don’t just buy it to resell, they actually are passionate about what they do and it shows in their work! This place is worth a drive - I’ve never been into a shop like it and I just found my new place. The owner came out of the classroom and was very kind. They have classes all the time and I want to learn to lace knit so I can make a shawl for fall. My experience here and their knowledge made me feel compelled to spread the word. - worth checking out!

I would not recommend this yarn store to anyone. I had a notion that was broken and when I tried to return it, less than a week after I bought it, I was told there are no returns on notions. I said my sales slip indicates I can return as long as I have my slip. The girl gave me a hard time and I asked for a store credit. She said they do not give store credits. She did say I could swap it for another one, after she gave me a song and dance. She said it was the owners store policy, and she pointed to a sign on the wall behind her approximately 15 feet away and read it to me. I said can you get the sign any smaller, I can barely read it. and I said it should indicate that on the sales receipt. I asked to speak with the store owner and the girl said she works from home and hardly ever comes in because of covid. I said do you really want to lose a customer over $8? That was when she said I could swap it. It's a knitting counter, I do not feel this is good customer service. I therefore will NOT buy anything from that establishment again. Yes, they lost a good customer
