Exeter Fine Crafts is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting crafts and craftsmanship through education. Our gallery opened for business in October, 1966, with its mission to support locally made fine crafts in New Hampshire. Today, the mission remains the same. Our retail shop is a great place to find wonderful handcrafted work made by skilled artisans. In addition, we offer a variety of high quality craft classes for adults and professional craftspeople in our downstairs studios. When you purchase one of our fine, handcrafted items, you support a network of creative artists living and working in northern New England as well as our extensive education program. EFC has an amazing array of beautiful crafts (and/or arts) for your home or as gifts. There are new items all the time, and the friendly staff is eager to show them to you and tell you about their 'history' and about the artists who create them. They have hung my series of embroidered moths on their walls, and I am so happy!
