If I could give no stars, I would. Nice fabrics, useless staff, could care less to help or answer questions. I bought fabric from $9/yd 3rd floor, he measured too fast, and inaccurately (had a woop de doo fabric measuring device threaded fabric thru) and I was overcharged $12, and was charged more than the $9 advertised. When I called or emailed got NO response. Salesman quipped about selling the store soon, as well, GOOD BYE AND GOOD LUCKš¤¬

I had not visited this place for several years, but am in need of some quality upholstery fabric. The place is now in a state of severe disrepair, smells overwhelmingly musty and is quite shabby. The man in customer service acted surprisingly snobbish. Needless to say, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Zimman's in Lynn, MA has always been great and the staff professional and polite.

Great fabrics and trims. Shopped there frequently. Because of the new hours not so much. Don't really like the new hours, difficult to go if you work M-F. If I have a day off during the week it is typically a holiday and the store is closed. Maybe consider changing days to W-S.

Andrew is dangerous! Very bad temper!You assaulted my husband. I am NOT under an āimpressionā, itās a FACT! YOUR employeeās witnessed the incident. YOU are an ill tempered, poorly commutative, dubious, business owner.Itās a sad day when a ābusiness manā has a temper tantrum, in his own establishment - then inflicts physical harm onto a customer - over fabric!?! Seriously?!?YOU know exactly what Iām referring to. In fact, I am contacting the court to see if others have filed complaints on such behavior and abuse, by you.I KNOW, this wasnāt your first ārodeoā - not with that kind of rage and lack of self discipline. To capitulate to violence, is embarrassing and demonstrates, a serious problem.

Andrew, the owner, is a hot tempered, hostile individual. I would never recommend his business. He's the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered.

I absolutely love this place! The availability of numerous designer fabrics here is great, and the owner is a pleasure to do business with. Every time I visit, it feels like I'm on a fun scavenger hunt!

Had a most unpleasant exchange with the person servicing the customer service desk; I wanted to ask if they did repair work; he overheard me talking to a floor associate and interrupted us and told her in a very condescending and inappropriate tone that she was "not allowed" to talk to me about anything customer service related. Cleary he needs training in customer service. I have been a customer for 35 years but will tell all my friends to go elsewhere.Oh, and even though it says they repair, he boldy told me they DO NOT do repairs..they are already booking until June and July. Secondly, their company did the job in the first place and the fabric pulled away as soon as someone sat in the chair. I was told because I didn't bring it in right away they would not repair it.I will find someone else to repair, it is not a big deal, but the way he talked to me and his associate was a very big deal. As I expressed my disappointment while walking away he "warned" the floor associate not to talk to me.

HEAVEN!!! As someone who takes interior design very seriously, having access to so many designer, high quality fabrics for a reasonable price is invaluable. The owner is fantastic to work with, too!

FABREZE PLEASE!! - if the the WAFT of MOLD and MILDEW do not make you stop, turn around and leave, the arrogant, rude, patronizing liar of an owner - Andrew - who has a very difficult relationship with facts and the truth will surely make you run!In December we delivered to this establishment over 2 dozen pieces and $5000 worth of fabric bought at Harry Zarin's in NYC. These were the entire contents of a home on Ocean Blvd in Rye. Fast talkin' Andrew refused to provide an invoice with scope of work providing details for the work. He likes to keep his customers in the gray zone so he is free to rip them off! We asked repeatedly for paperwork his answer was, "this is New Hampshire, we don't do invoices." The Three Card Monty con job was set in works. The NH State Department will not be too happy to know this is how he conducts his business.After paying $14,000 including additional $1000 for storage and receiving the first 6 pieces we found the work was terrible and unacceptable - he even charged us for our own fabric. There were pins sticking out of the furniture to the point it made fingers bleed on the fabric, some pieces were lumpy and not taught, other pieces had loose hems that weren't pinned or stapled and some pieces had absolutely no foam padding whatsoever and will need to be reupholstered yet again. The final act was seeing Andy help himself to our fabrics.On Thursday, July 28 we went to the shop to access the situation and again Andy was holding claim to our fabric. This was an entire collection of fabric bought for a home and he was taking entire rolls and claiming they were his. As i said to him "what are you doing with our fabric?", he just whisked 2 rolls away. We immediately made arrangements to remove all of our furniture and the rest of our fabric that he did not steal from us.His claim is that "he does not know where the fabric went?" Albeit, he removed them right in front of me, I saw him physically remove the fabric to clearly use for other purposes.He suggested we pick any other fabric. His fabrics are garbage, the place is filthy, old buildings do not need to be dirty, smelly with mice droppings everywhere. This place is a dump.We have filed a formal complaint with the Office of the Consumer Advocate, the Department of Health and Human Services and the National Upholstery Association.My parting words to this flim flam scam artist was "you clearly lost sight of your work here. Your product is delicate fabric and other people's furniture and you treat them as well as your clients like garbage."Consumer beware because this was a high stakes rip off!The bottom line is we will need to redo at least 2 of the pieces he delivered and we have repeatedly asked him to return our fabric and all we get is silence.

Being someone in the commercial interiors industry never have had such a bad experience. I have bought fabric here in past for window treatments, out door furniture....Would never again. For some reason gentleman just handed me to fabric book when I told him what I was looking for. Had me sign book which he didn't seem to have anyone else. When I told him looking for more gray rather then beige, told me to look at edge. Then came back in and accused me of using phone which I cad not, it wasn't put away. NOT RECOMMENDED!!
