Any time our regular postman goes on vacation our mail is either not sorted or not delivered for a few days at our mobile home park. We also have installed mailboxes that are not used by the post office.

So my dogs food has been out for delivery for days now….the audacity to not even put a correct scan on it…just forever out for delivery really? This is why all of your customers flock to Newfields PO ?♀️ bc customer service is still a thing… I barely check my mail at home anymore bc I know it comes maybe once every few days if that.. but when it comes to my dogs? bruh. Now I’m annoyed enough to leave a review. I would call but you haven’t answered the phone in a year ?Also, you’re out of stamps you should probably figure that out…

Decent staff, but would rate 0 stars if possible. This location is absolutely terrible. Nobody ever answers the phone. Nobody ever helps with packages, in person or on the phone. In the 10+ years I’ve been living in Exeter, I have not had a single good thing to say about this post office. I went in, dropped off a package, they lost the package, proceeded to tell me I never gave them anything when I confronted them about it a week later, then gave my contact information to the post master who was supposed to look into the issue, and who still has yet to contact me after a month and a half. I’d recommend getting packages sent to Hampton. They actually make sure things go to the right place. You may have to drive there, but at least you’ll have your package, unlike Exeter.

Still no mail after 3 days again, won't answer the phone and I don't want to drive to Exeter to find out why (we're in Brentwood)Had a problem with them last winter not forwarding mail to Florida and still delivering to NH after 2 months. Had to file a complaint before anything was resolved.

I work for a business in Brentwood and the mail service is far from reliable. We haven't seen any mail in 5 working days!!! Totally unacceptable, ridiculous, AND beyond belief. That's government for ya!

Absolutely horrific service. They lie about making deliveries, do not adhere to normal business hours, misplace packages, and NEVER pick up the phone. I wish we could transfer service to Epping, but no... someone decided to merge 3 towns to the same zip. I would rate lower, but that is not an option.

They may have a hard time answering their phones...but from my experience with them they have been nothing but prompt and kind. During the holiday (twice) they respectfully helped me transport my Step Father's ashes. And now I had an issue with Amazon because my zip code is the same as two other towns and they instantly corrected the issue once notified. I missed their call and they left me a nice response explaining the issue and gave me a number if it was not corrected..I appreciate this post office and I thank them for their kindness, patience and understanding.

I’ve never had an issue with US mail before moving to Exeter. Every package is late, sometimes lost. I often get tracking updates only for my package to sit at this local post office for days.I cannot imagine how people who depend on mail order prescriptions survive.

One expects better service. But often there is no service. I have frequently not received my mail for 3 days at a time. If it does arrive, it is at 8pm. Packages are "out for delivery" for days. Mail delivered to the other side of town. Packages are often left half way up the driveway, balancing on top of my mailbox or just thrown on the ground below my box. Our postal worker is digging a hole in front of my box because they drive too fast then slam on the brakes. I'm tired of refilling the holes. Perhaps I will leave them there from now on. This service has been in a steady state of decline for at least 4 years. Like others, good luck getting someone to answer the phone. It appears to be a serious management problem all around because people don't quit good jobs. They quit bad management.

Exeter USPS has had staffing issues for sure. Meanwhile each time I go there I feel the employee s aim to be helpful and usually friendly.Yesterday, while standing in line during the holiday crunch I had the big pleasure of witnessing a genuine smile on the postal worker as he helped the person in front of me. When it came to my turn I asked if I could post his photo on a view. He was delighted and appreciative and gave me his name. Thank you @Shanen Mays for lifting our spirits and filling in from your usual Portsmouth PO. Many others feel it your joy even if they dont say anything.Cheers and Merry Christmas

They don't answer the phone. They list packages as being delivered but they are not. I expect more from the post office. This is just simply unprofessional.UPDATE: I have received my package. It was not delivered on the date is said it was but 2 days later. I also did receive a phone call from the post office letting me know it was delivered which was a nice surprise. I am changing my review from 1 star to 3 stars.

Multiple packages are not being delivered by USPS with inexcusable responses. The excuses include box was placed in mailbox when the replacement box would never have fit. Deliveries after 10 pm that never actually get delivered. Falsifying deliveries is completely unacceptable

Great people working the lobby. They rarely answer their phone! What a way to run a business.
