Gave them a call to get my dog groomed, just so unfriendly and unwelcoming on the phone that I had absolutely no interesting in moving forward.

I took my two very small dogs for the first time to His Master’s Choice yesterday and I am very happy with how things went. Glad to have found a responsible, caring place where I know my dogs will be groomed with care. Highly recommend.

Karen & Harold are the best thing to help you understand and care for your dog.. We got a great education about dog behavior and socialization from a very caring and talented couple. Our Eddie the Maltese was lucky to have been groomed and cared for by two of the best in the business. We miss their care so much that when we visit NH or Maine we request their services when Ed needs a haircut or Daycare. You can go to the other Dog Groomers/Daycares, but if you want the BEST go to Masters Choice in Goffstown NH...

DON'T TAKE YOUR PET HERE! She is a crazy person! Karen was very nice when my husband booked initial appointment, very talkative. Our precious girl seemed to enjoy her first appointment, we were told when picking her up that she did great and played with other dogs, etc. Our 2nd appointment was today and when we arrived to pick our baby girl up we felt like we were rushed out the door. Karen offered no feedback except to ask in a snarky tone "is that cut short enough?!", directed to me, the mom. My husband had asked that our dog's fur be cut a little shorter since last time it was long enough in certain areas that urine was getting on it. (This was relayed to Karen's spouse prior t o the appointment, so maybe it was translated differently to her by him, but she seemed to have taken offense to the request.) Obviously she's a groomer and we are not, but communication would have been nice, not a snappy retort. My husband then tried to explain to her in person why he made the request, but she was in a "mood" and he could see it was going no where. Once we got our dog home, she seemed very anxious (was not like that last time), and actually threw up twice while on a half hour walk. :( I had not met Karen in person until today and my first impression was not a positive one. I wish my baby girl could talk so she could tell me if Karen took out her offense on her! It certainly appears that way! We will not be returning and will pray for Karen to be more aware of the way she comes across and if she has a need to discuss a customer's request to address it promptly and in a professional manner (and not carry the attitude all day!) Will Not be recommending this place!

Highly recommend...I have 2 large dogs who attend daycare here and we use the The Masters Choice for their boarding at least 3 times per year...when they come home from a full day of interacting, playing and a great day at daycare, all they want to do is have their dinners, their cookies, fantastic and bull sticks and GO TO SLEEP. They are exhausted! ❤❤
