I was in Vermont visiting family without any equipment. The folks at Hanover Strings set me up with an Epiphone Thunderbird bassand 12" Traynor combo amp and only charged me $40 for a week. Super friendly staff, very helpful and a great selection to choose from! I will be renting here again the next time we're down.

Awesome experience! We took one electric and acoustic guitar in for diagnostic and repair. He diagnosed the issues and the possible solutions he would take to repair them. Warning us if possible costly repairs beforehand and what the less expensive alternative would be. He assured us he would try the less costly alternative fist and he did.They also have a good selection of guitars for sale and we got a great deal on one we bought.My impression of Duncan is that he is honest, thoughtful, communicative, professional. We will be bringing our guitars here for all repairs in the future, even if it is an hour away from us it is worth the trip.

I'm not a musician, so I can't comment on Hanover Strings musical instrument selection or services. But when our small nonprofit needed a sound system for an event we sponsored, we rented from Hanover Strings. The system was perfect for our needs. We had a small problem and called them: they helped us resolve it over the phone and everything worked smoothly. The customer service and support from the staff was excellent. We won't go elsewhere in the future.

This place is the best of the best. Peak customer service from real experienced musicians that truly care about your time, money, and instruments. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my guitar. They have an immaculate selection of instruments with a refreshing atmosphere. They are fast, skilled, and knowledgeable.

You have to love your local guitar shop, they are special places. We’re lucky to have Hanover Strings, a long-time local institution. I’ve bought new and used equipment and instruments from them and had numerous repairs and setups done over many years and I’ve never been disappointed.
